Can't believe that people are suggesting that Michael and J Todd brought up the Cardspike issue because it was in their interest to do so - how can bringing this amount of crap on yourself be in your own interest?

And to say they should expect to be verbally threatened and/or physically assaulted in a public hotel in a major European city is farcical.

It's like saying Nixon had every right to punch Woodward and Bernstein for defamation. It's not civilised behaviour and the CAP shills who are coming on here accusing you of unprofessionalism should be ashamed of themselves.

J Todd, you sound really peed off with everything. Clearly it's been a very emotional week for you all round, but please reconsider your decision not to be involved here. For there are, as you say, many good people here who respect you and the work you do, even if they aren't as vociferous as the noisy minority.
