Steven was taken out of the show with quite a bit of physical force. He was removed by force against his will and that is abuse. Casino companies can choose who they pay money too even if it is CAP. But when people are challenged to fight and also are handled like animals publicly then I have to say we as affiliates and operators STOP this at once.
Abuserefers to the use or treatment of something (a person, item, substance, concept, or vocabulary) that is harmful. It can be classed by the target of abuse or the type of abuse.
It still, to this day just absolutely blows me away that the casino affiliate programs pay Cap anything at all, I just don't see it...I mean what are the programs actually gaining that they could not gain on their own anyway?
I became an affiliate of all of the casinos that I promote by knowing the casinos and playing at them first and actually putting in some test time there...so someone please fill me in here on what experience and benefits does Cap actually sell to the affiliate programs?? Am I missing something here ?
Hell, I've been playing online casinos ever since 1996 when Intercasino first went live...maybe I should make up a "Badge Banner" and start selling it to the programs, I've got purdy damn good name recognition in the industry so why not? Someone tell me why I should not do this and take most of Caps customers away from them...lol
It is my understanding JTodd was threatened not Michael.
I got off the phone with JTodd and he said, Lou asked him to step outside to "settle this like men". Todd asked Lou if he was sure about it and Lou said lets go, so they start walking to the door. An affiliate manager got in front of them and told Todd it was not a good idea and Todd agreed. Lou however did not, it took a couple of people to calm Lou down. Warren showed up and told Todd he would never threaten him and shook Todd's hand.
Steven was escorted out of the event, then out of the Hotel.
OMFG - ala' Mafia style - this is CRAZY!

100% agree - its time for programs supporting CAP to walk! I will seriously consider removing links of programs which choose to support that shop!
This is a great time to have a mediator really step in and offer a peace accord.
I think we need to find someone independent who has no relationship with either side and have a sit down between all the parties involved.
All of this should be done behind closed doors with written agreements from all parties that no abusive behaviour will happen.
Some form of resolution needs to happen here. There is no need for them to work together but for the respect of the industry and us affiliates who generate their income with our traffic I think we are owed this.
For the betterment of this industry and to keep things in good spirits a sit down should happen. Nothing should publicly be posted until the sit down is complete.
Its time to show the gambling affiliate world that despite differences we can still act like peaceful human beings.
Wasn't there and I think this is an unfortunate event. I am not judging anyone... but if Lou has a health/heart condition it could be induced and made worse by stress.
So saying what happened to his health condition because of this brawl is sort of an ignorant statement. (as in implying he has none)
Regardless I hope that everyone is all right and that no one got in trouble with the authorities.
Well this $hit is really getting interesting now, Over at my Website Blog I just received this little comment left by Anonymous!! LOL

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Traveling and Gambling": >> You better not say anything else negative about CAP if you want to keep playing at ANY online casinos. This is a promise! >> Publish this comment. >> Reject this comment. >> Moderate comments for this blog. >> Posted by Anonymous to The Gambling Guru's Blog at January 30, 2009 4:28 PM
Now my question to myself is should I...
1. Publish It
2. Reject It or
3. Moderate It
Now this clearly sounds like a threat to me, maybe Lou wants to ask me to step outside with him too, not even man enough to leave his name with the comment, had to do it Anonymously...jeeze.. Didn’t realize I was that popular…
What really bothers me about this whole fiasco is the fact there are quite a few webmasters here, ( including myself ) who are CAP members and GPWA members. I want to make it quite clear that despite being a CAP member - I am disgusted by what happened in London and at this point I am embarressed to admit that I am a member of CAP.
This is the sort of behaviour I witnessed in my school days
