Superstitious?

This is for research and thought this would be the rite place. If not I am sorry.

How many of you as players have some kind of ritual that you perform before you play. And what are they..

I personally have to hit the spin button three times in a row..what i mean is i have to press three times for one spin. at the land casinos i have to spin three times then lower my bet to 1 coin then go back to three and so on..

Ive seen people tape pictures of there families or kids to their machine or at there table.

Whats your ritual?

I do something like this as well. Always my first three spins on any slot machine must be a max bet. I like to start on the 0.05 cent machines and work my way up to the dollar machines as well.

When I play craps live I usually request for the dice to be set to double 6's for the pair I use for the coming out roll and any combination of 7 after the point has been set.

My ex always had me blow three times on his dice before rolling.

Of course, when he lost he berated me for not having blowed with enough fervor .

I dont have any rituals but my grandmother presses every single button before she settles on one on the slots.

There are lot of gambling superstitions I know but I am not applying them during my gaming.. I don't think any superstitions will work in gambling because most casino games are usually a game pure of luck.. Even strategies won't work.. If you won, it only means it's you're day today, if you lose, it just mean that it's not you're day, better luck next time.

Laugh if you like, but I have my lucky pair of boxers that I've been using for years that seems to bring me luck. Whether superstitious or just out of habit, it's definitely makes me feel more comfortable - to each his own! My wife calls me a caveman because of this habit, but when it comes to gambling I think just about everyone has their own little rituals.

I basically relies on my skills with my poker gaming and relatively relies on luck with other casino games including slots and roulette. When i win on the day of gaming, this means for celebration and go out on the table. Whereas when i loose, going home is the answer!
