Thanks for putting out a show in very tough circumstances.

Appreciate the coverage of sports betting. But 5,10,20 years for legal online action?

Are you able to explain the perceived bogeyman that objectors have to licensed and tax paying US based online sports betting operations that operate full KYC procedures ?
    - It can't be an allergy to collecting tax money.
    - It can't be a belief that it's not already happening online at offshore locations and in physical casinos.

Is it just racebook and casino lobbyists protecting their patch?
Or is it a morals based fear of "normalising"gambling ? (Ignoring the state promotion of lotto, keno and horse racing of course).

    Just what gives?

Thanks, J agree with Gooner good job on putting out a show in very tough circumstances.

I realize this isn't the forum to raise issues such as gun control and the right of people to protect themselves etc and my heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy.

I was told you cant buy Kinder Suprise Egg with toy inside it in the US because it could be dangerous to children but a gun not so much?

Just makes me wonder what it's going to take to actually make this tougher to do ?

I know that's what he said, but not sure if he really believes that or was just making conversation for the video

Personally, I believe the changes are in motion and will begin in earnest this December... after the Supreme Court strikes down PASPA.

However, politics and law can be strange... and in the event SCOTUS does not declare the law unconstitutional, I could easily see another 20 years before the issue changes.

I don't think it's a bogeyman issue at all. In fact, the bogeyman is a patsy in this case. It's really about the cashman... and the special interest puppeteers.

I don't want to take away American's rights to bear arms. It may be silly and irrational to those outside of the country, but it's as real a part of our heritage and culture. However, the constitution is a living document, and no one can argue that the founding fathers gave us that right as a matter of protection from tyranny. They could have never foreseen what "arms" have become in our modern culture.

That said, I still believe in the second amendment, but also support gun control. Americans accept limitations on their freedoms all the time, and this should be no different. We are free to drive anywhere we want, so long as we do so responsibly within the parameters of the law. We also have freedom of speech, but are restricted by laws against slander and liable and screaming "fire" in crowded theaters.

So, in my opinion, we are past time for gun control... although I admit that laws will not stop all lunatics who want to kill people. We need only look to Europe and the UK to see that. I don't think I have the answers for this issue (there may not be a perfect answer), but I do have an opinion based on my experiences here in the US. I'm sure others have different opinions... and that's ok so long as we respect and listen to one another.

I Come from one of the most violent countries in the world yet we are rated as one of the most democratic ones too, at One Point the city I lived in was the murder capital of the world ( Title I have such disdain for). It boggles my mind just how easy it is to get your hands on some of these types of weapons. Our Criminals still manage to get their hands on guns hence the information above but for the average person who wants to protect his family there is Lots of admin that needs to be done before one can get a Permit to carry, Fingerprinted at a Police Station, Gun Training, Your weapon won't get handed over until you have a valid permit Lots of these types of controls We have managed to make it tougher but yet still have issues with such violent crime .. nothing like what you have experienced re Mass Killings etc but at least lawmakers are trying .. Everyone has there opinions and you did say it very well as a patriotic US Citizen I can see your passion for the rules that govern your country. Something has to be done through whatever that is. What scares me is the Vegas Killings have now created a "Record " if you like someone/ Some Nut Case may want to hold that Title for themselves in future it's very scary
