Turkish market?

Its based on the geographic restrictions details our content department gathers for the Casino City website.

Using Captain Cooks Casino as an example here are the geographic exclusions we're aware of (broken out by continent):

Asia & Middle East: Armenia Azerbaijan Indonesia Malaysia Pakistan
Europe: Albania Belarus Bosnia and Herzegovina Estonia Latvia Lithuania Moldova Montenegro Serbia Slovakia Slovenia
North America: United States

Turkey is not one of the excluded countries, so it should up in the results for sites accepting Turkish players if no other restrictions are used. But it is filtered out if you also require that the software is available in Turkish.

There could be some out of date details in the Casino City listings -- it sounds like this is an issue of needing to update the software language details. We try to keep up with everything and have a pretty sizable team doing the research, but with the volume of data sometimes things slip by. If you could shoot me over an email I'll make sure the updates are put in place.

Incidentally, the results for sites accepting players in Turkey without any additional restrictions are available here.

Why would you touch Turkey its against the law and a huge amount of fraud comes out of Turkey, good luck with it not sure that any rooms will accept the traffic.

I think the point here is that not all traffic who want to see the software/sites in Turkish are from Turkey and that's one of the reasons why people want to target Turkish speakers..

I know for starters there are a crapload of Turkish people here in Oz and I'm sure there are many spread out around the world, so I wouldn't rule it out.

There are a few reasons in this thread already, but just to recap if you hadn't read it all, one reason would be because not all Turkish speakers live in Turkey.

Thanks for the recap, but still, I don't get it. If those Turkish people live in Oz or in US, is it still effective to be particular with their market? Why not target the casino player market in general?

Pretty much, and there are "high rollers" in every country.. so just because the Turkish high rollers may not be in Turkey, don't target them? It's just like a niche...

Well because then the market would be so over-saturated you may as well give up. That's why people target different things.. if you've thought of it, chances are that another thousands people have also thought of it.
