Unbelievable stats ?

I sent an email to Ricardo a week ago today but never received a reply so i will post it here to try and get a response. I have been with fortune affiliates for years and have never questioned their stats until now. Since my site focuses very much on Microgaming I believe these stats to be way off target.

Downloads - 42 ( new players 0 )

Downloads 68 ( new players 0 )

Downloads 45 ( new players 0 )

Downloads 61 ( new players 0 )

Downloads 70 ( new players 0 )

Downloads 43 ( new players 0 )

These are the downloads to new players ratio for the past few months. I understand not everybody buys into the casino after downloading but these stats do seem to be a tad ridiculous.

Hi Chris,

Glad you brought this up. We have been with Fortune Affiliates for nearly 6 years now and last made decent cash with this group before the UIGEA. I've also noted that we have lots of downloads with very little action to show for it. If only the download to player ratio worked out 1.5 to 2% we'd be smiling now, unfortunately this is not the case. To give you an example last month (September) we had 238 downloads.

You could contact davidg at fortuneaffiliates.com and request him to do an audit on your stats, we did.

Yeah this is what I had an issue with. They show no respect for some affiliates. I removed them many months ago. JUst could not take anymore disrespect they were showing me. Good luck though i had un answered mails for months.

I also highly doubt that their stats are correct. Emails to the AM regarding stats errors are not answered.
I would say be very carefull with them.

Yeah in terms of emails - they have to be one of the "top 5 worse email back communicators" - your emails will go answered for months.
I am not sure how the stats work anymore - but i certainly do know they really show lack of respect when it comes to replying to emails.

Actually, I've always found FA to reply pretty promptly - must depend on your aff manager.

For me the same i checked now my stats by fortune affiliates , result, 0 new player, a lot of trackers disapeared, seems that my affiliate manager has change but no info recieved, no email. I have on sunday send an email i hope to have back an anser.

No stats, i make publicity since one year for nothing?? it seems... since this week end i checked all my stats and it seems fortunes affiliates, affclub, referback and may be casinorewards are fucking some of their affiliates. by casinorewards you put a code with your id affiliates in your website and after when you try it at the bottom you see another affiliate number, crazy!!

For the future i think will work only with a lot of programms, it's time to throw a lot of them away!! because no stats, no email answer or no attention for affiliates who are searching and bringing new players to their casinos. not sor fair

I checked my stats and we are getting on average 1 new player for every 60 downloads ,I checked on Brightshare and our conversions are very similar ,Brightshare converts a bit better for us 1 player every 47 downloads.Be interested to hear other numbers

I checked Fortune, Rewards and Star and they all about the same. 1 New depositor for every 8 downloads.

What I posted was new depositing players per downnload. I figured the average for people would be 1 new per 10 or so downloads. Thats what surprised me about Chris's numbers and yours.

by casinorewards you put a code with your id affiliates in your website and after when you try it at the bottom you see another affiliate number, crazy!!

If you could post the page you are testing I would like to see this for myself please (others could also test it). Unless you have something incorrect in your code it's pretty impossible for the aff id to be someone elses. We track last referrer by cookie, session and query string.

FYI - I just tested the GMD banner on your site: Attachment 2300
The link when I hover (bottom left): Attachment 2301
When I click it I get the following at the bottom (same aff id as the link I clicked):
Attachment 2302

So if there is an issue with our links, it would happen with them all.

Please post the page you tested on that is giving you a wrong result.

my only solution is to take my affiliate link and paste it to my banner without code.

You should try doing a php redirect file for you affiliate links or at least remove their alt 'online casino' .Let me know if you need any help with that
