I agree that the fact they listened and made changes was a good thing, but I am still interested in what rating AGD will give them for NEW affiliates.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

I may be a minority here but although it is good they have made the terms more affiliate friendly I am always concerned when programs try to 'get away' with these terms in the first place. There are MANY great groups who value us affiliates and would never dream to rake us over the coals in this way .These are the groups we are seeking as our partners, Business is Business and will consider these groups who 'try' to put in these sort of terms as 'high risk'.There are so many great MGS Casinos I just don't need to deal with 'risky partners'.I am speaking for myself and how I do business not asking anyone else to follow my lead.
Now to the idiot who will come along and say Vegas affiliate is better than program x y or z that I do work with ,Program x y and z has not given me any reason not to work with them.In 2007 we were earning a steady income of $1500 -$2000 with Vegas Affiliates and we bought a website and affiliate account from an affiliate who was earning over $1100 a month in the end of 2007 .Something went SERIOUSLY Wrong by mid 2008 and this nearly $3000 a month income went to maybe $100 COMBINED on the two accounts to the point it did not make sense for us to keep them in the SAME positions. Then add the term change and it was a no brainer we had to dump them.

If I had a earnings base of $3000+per month that went to next to nothing on many other programs the manager would be emailing us to find out what the hell we did ,are they still live as they would be equally concerned. The fact we get no emails at all as this nosedive in earnings tell me many things from my 7+ years experience in this business.

    Hi there Everyone,
I really have to thank everyone for giving us a second chance and for understanding that programs and the people behind them can change for the better.

Hi Judy/ Casinobonusguy, I don't really know what happened in 2008, since as I said I only started working on this issue in late 2009. In your specific case I would never wait for an Affiliate Manager to contact me, I would be far less patient specially given such a drop :P. But I am glad you work with partners you trust, and as I said I can only hope you give us another chance in the future.

We can only hope to live up to the expectations and deliver to old affiliates who decide to promote us once again, and new affiliates, our best possible service and an environment of openness that makes them part of the improvement and decision process.

As I said before, I am not an Affiliate Manager, and I do not presume to know everything, but I do know how important it is to do something you know is going to affect people in a positive way and more significant than everything else, hearing the affiliates in this forum recognize and compliment the efforts and hard work we have placed into this.

I know I know I do write 222222 much, but can’t help it,
    Take care everyone,
    Monica

This program is all of a sudden all cool with everybody? Is this not the group that threatened webmasters with lawsuits? or isint this the program that felt it could pull a fats one over on affiliate by changing terms?

You all go ahead and promote them and when a new affiliate manager comes in once again and you all get screwed again I'll sit here and say i told you so. This program has sucked for almost 10 years and I doubt Id ever give them a second chance. These ass clowns also cost me alot of money by closing my affiliate account years ago when I gave them shit for being two months late with my payments.

I'll be here laughing when you all have to do like poor Judy and pull them from all your sites again this time next year.
    Until we meet again.

    Hey there puma,
I do think people will be watching us a lot more closely which means of course that we will have to be on our best behavior. I can't vouch for the period in the past and on how things were managed before, but I believe we are being given an opportunity to make things right and we aim not to disappoint.
I can however vouch for the work of the current team in place and if we ever fall into the mistakes of the past, I will give them hell myself.
We have evolved much in the past few years and Vegas Affiliates is growing and improving every day, and I would be more than happy to guide your steps into giving us a second chance.
    Best wishes,
    Monica

    Sorry to hear that Chris.

I'm sure that some are dissappointed in us placing them again and that's cool. I would be upset in your situation, but I feel that it's the right thing for me to do as I really have had a good relationship with VA for the most part.

I remember all the problems with stats after the change over, late payments, etc., but stayed with them until the bundling because that is NOT acceptable and I do have to draw a line.

I can certainly understand why Judy would be hesitant as well. We all have our reasons, but don't beat us down dude. hehe

I have personally decided to reinstate this brand on our sites due to the fact that I honestly believe the actual company had no idea that these threats were being made by the departed affiliate manager. I also think that this was a case of a very young man having his first important job in the real world and getting a huge ego, not to mention delusions of self grandeur! What the company is guilty of is not doing a better job of hiring this certain person and also not training him properly.

I cannot answer on how AGD will label this program for new players, it will take the team to weigh the options and since the dog is out of commission for a few days this will have to weight to be answered.

Affiliate Guard Dog will re-review Vegas Affiliates complete new terms and conditions, if the terms are certified we will certify with a warning.
The warning will last as long as the time period in which their terms were retroactive.

    Hi All,

In our defense, I couldn't agree more with what was mentioned above. Every program along the path has made some regret able mistakes , and it is not always apparent to the management the day to day struggles and spontaneous decisions that were taken , but I think that with all the recent positive changes we have implemented there should not be a reason why any of the past mistakes can be repeated. We have new team members on board who are very dedicated, professional and mature in making the program a true success and people who support our loyal partners.

We will go out of our way to prove our credibility. In fact I am working on new communication strategy and all affiliate partners are contacted when the revenues drop like you guys mentioned and we will make sure that you will get fast responses to matters that are important for you. The payment times are a lot stricter too which is a big big help.

Hope to answer all your questions, and if you want to send me a private message that is also most welcome.

Ok here is what the people that refuse to promote again brands with issues think, correct me if im wrong but the point is, you can have all the tactics you want and a team and so on so on, BUT we affiliates most of us anyway, have no idea who are the owners of such programs and what forbids them from one day firing your asses and just close affiliates again...

my 2 cents of course i have no positive or negative
