Very Important GAU Announcement

Hi everyone,

As you know, Paul (chalkie) has not been active on the forums for a number of months now. He has had to make some major changes in his life, due to personal reasons that I will not discuss here.

Paul is healthy and everything is fine with his family, he just does not have time to be on the forums or involved in the GAU.

Paul feels terrible for dropping the ball in regards to the GAU. He is very passionate about the union and wants to ensure it continues as he envisioned.

A couple weeks ago, Paul approached me through a third party and asked me to take over the GAU. The person who is acting as intermediary will remain anonymous at his request, but he is a private member of this forum. I want to take a moment here to express my thanks to this person for taking the time to broker this deal. Paul and I are in your debt my friend, thank you!

At this point in time, we have come to a verbal agreement. although we do not have a written agreement in place at this time, I am confident that by early next week the domain and the website will be under my control. We will make an official announcement at that time. In the meantime, if anyone requires assistance or has any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me via pm or email or if you prefer, by posting in this thread.

Paul and I would like to thank you all for your support and for your patience through this period of transition.

I'm looking forward to getting the GAU back up and running.

Thanks for the update on Paul, I believe many of us were worried about his absence and i pray everything is ok, and things work out for him the way he hopes.

Great to see you taking on this huge responsibility, and I am sure you will do a wonderful job.
