Thumbs up Virtual CAC Conference set for March 27th

The first virtual conference for the gaming industry is being held on Thursday, March 27th.

The Virtual Casino Affiliate Convention will be online at VirtualAffiliateConvention.com from 8am EST to 7pm EST.

The GPWA, as an exhibitor at the Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam next week, will also be participating in this virtual conference.

We will post details of the conference, and our particpation, in this thread as the virtual conference unfolds.

The virtual conference facility will enable you to:

View attendee profiles
Introduce yourself and your business
Send others messages
Text chat with others
Call or audio chat with other attendees (requires a microphone with speakers or a PC headset)
Video Chat with them (requires a webcam).

The goal of the virtual event is to make the Amsterdam Casino Affiliate Convention even more effective. By attending the virtual event in advance, you will have the ability to speak directly with other affiliates. Exhibitors can be viewed and you have the ability to speak directly with them. With a web cam, you will be able to have video meetings with others.

You can use the virtual conference to:

Introduce yourself to others
Plan appointments for the Amsterdam CAC conference
View the exhibitors and ask them questions.

Time runs quickly at the Amsterdam event, which is the largest event of the year. With attendance expected to be at an all time high, it is physically impossible to meet everyone in Amsterdam. We wanted to make the event perform as best as possible for our delegates.

If you are not sure about attending Amsterdam this year, then let the virtual conference help you decide. Its free!

We recommend the following:

1) A WebCam. These are fairly inexpensive and can be found anywhere.

2) A PC Headset: If you don't have a webcam, a PC Headset is good to make audio calls.

At the virtual event, you can choose to either be proactive by contacting others attending the event, or passive by letting other contact you. You can still do all the things you normally do in your office (answer calls, send email, play video games, etc . Just stay logged into the (VirtualAffiliateConvention.com website from 8am EST to 7pm EST

Michael

Hi Michael,

Very, very cool...

Two things:
1. I had problems logging in... please check
2. Brightshare logo is missing from the sponsors list

Thanks and see you there!

Cheers, Lloyd

The virtual conference is currently open and there are 15 people there.

However, currently chat and conferencing are not working. I will put a post here once I know that is working.

In the meantime, it is possible to update profile information, log into the virtual show, and send messages to other participants (I've verified that much is working right now).

I think the issues have been resolved with the passwords. You should have received a second email by now with it. I see more people logging in.

Brightshare: I told pringo to add you as an exhibitor - Lloyd - you should get an email once its done.

The other issue is the Chat software. It WAS working last night. Now its down. The company is in California. I am calling the president on his cell phone to get it resolved. But that may take time.

Thanks for being understanding.

Alex

I just sent your issue into Pringo. They are trying to resend everyone their passwords right now.
