BETDAQ themselves might prohibit access but the US Federal Wire Act has nothing whatsoever to do with the blanket statement made above.

Whoever being engaged in the business of betting or wagering knowingly uses a wire communication facility for the transmission in interstate or foreign commerce of bets or wagers or information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers on any sporting event or contest, or for the transmission of a wire communication which entitles the recipient to receive money or credit as a result of bets or wagers, or for information assisting in the placing of bets or wagers, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both

Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006
"prohibits gambling businesses from knowingly accepting payments in connection with the participation of another person in a bet or wager that involves the use of the Internet and that is unlawful under any federal or state law."

To clarify BETDAQ's position, it is company policy that we don't accept US players. We may look at changing the current display message, but if anyone has any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

If a US affiliate, that promotes to other countries, wants to join the affiliate program how do they access the promotional information for players if they aren't allowed to view the site?

@ Redbush54 - That's a valid question. Unfortunately if they try to access www.betdaq.com with a US based IP they are going to get this message. It's a policy that we have implented so that our customer service team doesn't get overrun with US player registrations which then then have to be closed.

To answer your question, a US affiliate can still access http://affiliate.betdaqaffiliates.com to register. Once they access our Net Refer interface they will quickly see the banners & promotions that are currently available. Ofc I will also be working closely with our affiliates to make sure they have relevant & up to date content for their audience

I'm going to be incredibly lazy and just ask you some questions rather than looking them up - figured it might help other affiliates too. I'm also in the US at the moment so can't access the site which would answer one of the questions.

1. Do you offer cross product commissions?
2. Do your terms include any quotas or time limits (eg: like betfairs only paying on the first 12 months of sports activity)
3. What Casino/Poker software do you use?

1. Yes commissions are tracked across all products - betting exchange, 1bet, multibet, and poker

2. Our revenue share structure is currently set to 2 years for all products (I appreciate it's not ideal for affiliates, but in terms of promoting an exchange I'd argue it's better than the competition)

3. re: Poker

We use Entraction's software. Entraction was recently acquired (100%) by International Game Technology (IGT) a $ multi-billion company (see igt.com)

re: Casino

We use GTS's games platform. GTS is 100% owned by Playtech. The games include the best performers and branded content from the likes of:

• ASH Gaming
• Dynamite Idea
• Cryptologic
• Bellfruit/Mazooma
• BluePrint Gaming
• Next Generation Gaming
• vsG (GTS's in-house games)
• OpenBet/Electracade
• Freemantle

Automatic bonusing will be coming. However, at the moment our Poker & Casino products are "value added" options for our sports punters.
