You have some cool brands and was thinking of joining your program, but can you confirm your rev share % and if it's negative carryover?

Hi Jake, thanks for answering so swiftly. So you do have negative carry over at the moment but plan to have NNCO at the end of 2016. Am I reading that right?

hi Triple7, yes we removed this for UK as i am UK manager i have mentioned this for UK. I am not so certain in other regions. We removed this u=in UK as it is an ultra competitive market. We only run NNCO with an affiliate who is long and well established with us.

    Hopefully you understand,

    Cheers,

There must be some overview of where you use it and where not, isn't it? Or perhaps one of your colleagues can reply here?

    hello,

As mentioned, it has been removed in UK unless special circumstance.
In other regions it really is up to the discretion of the country manager. NNCO is unfavoured by us as a whole due to the risk it involves as I'm sure you can appreciate as an industry professional.

Please let us know which regions interest you and we can see what can be organised, performance permitting.

    Cheers again

It is about markets like The Netherlands, Belgium and English-speaking markets not being UK. In your FAQ, terms & conditions and other communication this topic was never touched.

In the T&C is mentioned "None of our employees can amend or cancel the terms of this contract." . I think the country manager is an employee too.

It is not relevant if NNCO involves risks. It is relevant now if it's applicable or not. Is NCO applicable: yes or not. If yes, on base of which term. Quite simple.

It's very difficult to negotiate a reasonable deal with them and it depends on which AM you have. On the beginning we started with an acceptable deal but you was forced to negotiate all 3 months new. It totally nervs to deal all 3 months new. We was on xx % including nnco for casino. After getting a new manager the discussions started again. After some time they requested for nco but we haven't accepted.

The reason for request was surely that at relevant times the commission was negative. So we have not accepted a new deal with nco and stopped promotion.

They decided to set us on standard % with nco although we had at this time a deal with nnco.

We would have made compromises but if one is being stubborn just because they want to enforce nco, then this is only possible to a certain point.

It makes no fun to deal with a partner like this, so they must accept not actively promoting.

What should i say more? It is how it is

I agree with that. It bothers me too to have to negotiate every 3 months again. Like this they can always blow up a deal. You can promote them very much and then be with a standard deal with NCO.... Also they never ever mentioned to me something about NCO.

    Waiting response now from them.

However they have some cool brands, it doesn't seem to be a partner for the longterm.

LivePartner simply ignores the point. Here and in the e-mails. Another "trustworthy" sponsor program. Paying for sponsor fees here and conference booths, but backward simply dodgy.

i have already been clear, i'll say it again for your convenience, NNCO is not set as standard on the LivePartners programme.

However, It has been available for a partnership if it is relevant, justified and fair to a deal. We have more openly provided NNCO in the past, but the risk is large on our side, as i'm sure you can understand. We are on the sharp end.

Partners we have long standing relationships with and trust may find themselves in a NNCO scenario at some time if they are running a short loss leader campaign for example.
As i said, i manage the UK market, and this is the approach we take for UK and is mostly mirrored across all other regions.
    I hope i haven't been vague there.

I'm sure accidental but you have misinterpreted your quote of our t&C. For the benefit of you and anyone else who has seen your post, here is the full point:
If one party or another is unable to comply with any clauses in this contract, they must not ignore the rest of the clauses cited. None of our employees can amend or cancel the terms of this contract.
To simplify, we are saying we cannot bend the regulation and rules applied to Livepartners at the will of an employee or partner. The terms are set.
Our T&C's are set out to be fair to both parties, an amendment of the standard terms set within our contracts cannot be made by a manager without acknowledgement of all parties and agreement, but it's worth mentioning that a contract can indeed be renewed and changed to a different deal or ended with notification to all parties. This is of separate meaning.
We provide many deals which are not the standard offered if you sign up and promote without ever speaking to a manager at LivePartners.

If you can't work on our terms, as mentioned in the t&c, unfortunately we won't be able to work together.
That would be a shame as it is a very rare occurrence.

Apologies i'm lost, what are we ignoring? we are far from a 'simply dodgy' platform, that's why we have strong, lasting deals with the top affiliates across all of our geo's.

Fell free to ask for me at Berlin and i'll hopefully be able to show you the success of the platform for both affiliates and our brands.

For NL traffic, you'd be best contacting our NL manager, ali.abokor@netbet.com

    Thanks for your reply, Jake.

There are 1.000 of reasons to have NCO, but that is not the point here. Again, you are just ignoring it. The point is not if you have reasons for NCO or not. The point is if it is communicated and if you are transparent about it. It is not of my concern what are your reasons for NCO, with which affiliates you are working with, etc. I can write here too that I am working without any discussion about terms with dozens of programs, but it is not relevant at all.

Neither it is not of my concern who is responsible for which market. The point is that LP is doing vague about NCO/NNCO. Also here. First it's just applicable for UK sports, then it's up to the country manager (while in your terms & conditions it stated that employees cannot amend or cancel terms of the contract), mostly mirrored and now NNCO is not standard.

Also in a separate agreement NCO is not mentioned and never ever we talked about it. It wasn't even applicable, but it's put since some months. Never got any notification of it, just that suddenly my invoices weren't paid anymore and when I asked, the Finance Department told me it is because of NCO that is suddenly applicable. If I ask why and where it's stated, I get no concrete answer at all. Just that it's suddenly applicable. Questions about? Yep, again, no concrete answer.

I've heard similar stories of other affliates. It's not the way business must be done in my honest opinion.

Last reply from me in this thread. Won't get an answer anyway, just "look how fantastic we are"-replies.
