Seems Casino rewards is doing everything to try and get players to visit other casinos without an affiliate link attached these days. Even in the sign up bonus ( first line ) is a link to casino action.

I clicked the links at the bottom and the casino action link. It looks like the affiliate tag carries to the other casinos.

I went from UK casino to Casino Action to Casino Classic and the affiliate tag remained. We can add this to the testing we are already doing.

Puma can you check that with your links? You will see the affiliate tag at the bottom of the casino page when you got to the casino via affiliated link.

I will also speak with Rewards to see what they say.

I do not see an affiliate link however even if there was, there is no reason to have those links there. No reason what so ever. If I wanted to send players to a different casino then I would. Seems very very odd that all the reward casinos make extremely obvious links to other casinos in their promotions and footers. Just remove them.

You will not see a BTAG when you go from Golden Tiger to CR, but if you go to Golden Tiger from the casinorewards site the original aff tag is still in place.

The affiliate tag is per property at CR. There is no tag if you go to other properties.

Yes it is cross promotion, unfortunately the group has become a MG giant.

Affiliates have no choice other than accept their cross promoting activities when promoting any of their casinos.

CR has been confronted with this, but sticks to business as usual. Besides that the cross promoting issue has had no consequences for the sponsorship here.

I'm going to have to stop reading threads involving RA and this BS because I see red everytime I read this type of crap!

I wish I could overlook it, but they are starting to cut into my income with their "busines of screwing affiliates" and I"m not happy about it!

I don't see how they feel they can cross promote to our players and take our commission when they have NOTHING to do with getting the player in the first place.

At this rate if we take the approach of not promoting them then we are cutting our own throats.

They are doing a PAC MAN on the brands gobbling them up as fast as the can as well as taking potential income from affiliates!

LOL Rick, I've calmed down a bit today.

I understand that they are not going to change their model, but that does not mean I have to pretend to like it or shut up about it.

You are right Ixian, at this rate I will have worked 10 years to just have all my players cross promoted to and lead away to another property. What player would not like to be exposed to 30 NEW casinos via a newsletter and not take them up on the offer? They said that the links have a very low click thru rate, but if that's the case then why not work with angry affiliates and improve the relationship?

I know that if Vegas takes over after regulation and our revenue percentage drops I will be ok with it as long as we get the TRUE rev share and not some rigged numbers & payments. Not saying that RA is doing that, but I'm just sayin.....

Anyway I'm done with this subject due to the fact that they are NOT going to change it, but I hope I"m not affected by thier practice by losing my long time players therefore showing me that they are taking my players that I got under other management that managed to retain them for me.

Links in footer/content track the BTAG to the sister casinos, but NOT for links on the multiple casino pages linking to to Casinorewards.com and its subpages (where the player can find all partner casinos (about us, CR), deposit helper, logon for the comp points, password reminder, uninstall etc etc).
