And our good friend Renee Best AM???
Without a doubt! I couldn't vote because I was banned but Renee gets my vote!

There has been a lot of discussion in the private forums on how to best relay the fact that the programs are sponsors. Not 'certified'. However 'sponsors' are also taken the wrong way by new affiliates. It is open to discussion on the best way to make that clear. I am not sure how cap handles that to be honest. I think they say programs have been researched?

Everything I have stated above can be confirmed. It is just a small example and why I personally am grateful to GPWA. Maybe I can lose the prison suit. It itches!

    Dear Cap,

Could you please remove my prison suit? I am very sorry if I offended you. It will never happen again. I don't mind being banned but a year and a half of humiliation...not sure what to say.

    Thank you,

    Mojo

Mojo, I know you are a very good person, I'm sorry to hear that you have such avatar at CAP But I like your avatar at CasinoMeister , I like this dancing Mojo very much, and sometimes I visit CM only to see this dancing Mojo if you don't mind I'll post it here, GPWA members must see it

mojo, I just checked in the CAP forum and found there your distorted avatar in all messages posted by you. This is absolutely shocking if it has been done without your consent. Nobody has the right to distort someone's avatar, banned or not! I think people can be sued in the US for doing such things.

Thats actually common practice, I know several others who had their usernames changed; I wont mention their names but they are all members here at GPWA now.

They actually go much further ; deleting, moving, AND even editing user messages to say what they want.

Here's the lovely avatar awarded to me after my banning at CAP:

Greek's NAME was changed to freak or something like that...maybe somebody can verify that for me.

Public humiliation, edited posts to make the bannee look bad has been routine at CAP for years. I'm surprised how long it's been overlooked by the community as a whole.

I went to find the threads because I'm one to see the information for myself.

Here is a link to the thread for anyone that is interested in reading them. I think they are public.

Please explain exactly why this ISNT shaving?

Hey thanks Robin! Here is the post that got me banned:

At the risk of being beat up here at CAP, the title of this thread and subsequent posts does not invite an affiliate manager to partake in a business-like discussion. I see no goal towards a resolution, merely accusations and alienating a very good affiliate manager. If I were Nicolas, I would never post here again after being told my program was subject to theivery, shaving and lying. (I know, it was nothing personal against Nicolas).

    Ok, bracing myself lol.

    Regards,
    Mojo
Sorry if I offended anyone at cap. Some of the subsequent posts have been altered.

The rewards thread has been changed as well and some posts have been deleted.

Yikes! I feel bad about complaining about my very small issue after seeing what others have been through. I cannot imagine an administrator going into my account and posting as me.

After I was banned, a friend told me that "Fergie" was logged in at CAP. I don't think anybody used my banned account to post, I presume they were looking through my private messages, hoping to come up with something to prove their lies with.

    They didn't, of course.

The strong arm tactics continue, this time at PAP... anyone who has joined PAL or is friends with Jeremy has been put on notice. Many have been banned and others have voluntarily walked away from the forum. Here is what Lou has to say on the subject...

    Guys,

I want to clarify something that should have been self evident but apparently isnt to everyone. PAP was created as a community and gathering place for webmasters who promote online poker. It's focus moving forward is to share ideas, exchange links, get design reviews, share feedback on programs and maximize all of our profits in this industry.

For years we did just that and made tons of new friends online who shared our interests. I have always been proud of what we built together and still am.

Over the past year we have seen the sign up of a great number of new members. Most of them are great people who want to grow their businesses. We are certainly always glad to have new members in the PAP family.

Unfortunately a small number have not come here to participate, but rather to berate and attack others including administrators, moderators and our All In Program Sponsors. I am not sure what their agenda or why they waste their time your time and ours and quite frankly I dont care. I don't like the new tone and mean spiritedness they have brought with them. A VERY small minority seem to be hell bent on creating a hostile and unpleasant enviroment for the rest of us and it's allowed that to go on far longer then it should have.

I was guilty of caving in to the false concept that they have everyone has a right to say whatever they wish, they could criticize and tear people down with impunity and if I or another administrator or moderators stepped in we would be branded as an evil censor and as people who didn't respect others rights to post their thoughts, no matter how vile.

Stupidly myself and senior managment bought into that and we let them make many real professional affiliates and publishers very uncomfortable at our own forum. Well, its gotten to be too much to ignore. Its no longer the occasional fire that needs to be put out, it's gotten out of hand and common courtesy, professionalism and respect for others or even PAP has flown out the window.

Luckily it's only a small number of people behaving like this. But like a cancer if we allow it to go unchecked it could fester and engulf the entire community. That aint going to happen!

Well, it's chemo therapy time here at PAP. I will not tolerate this sort of behavior anymore and positively WILL BAN anyone who is actively trying to create a hostile working enviroment for the rest of us.

You are free to discuss industry issues, talk about programs, address problems or concerns with tracking or promotions or just chat with your friends. Thats what PAP is here for.

What you will NOT be allowed to do is:

    1. Make personal attacks on other members. I don't mind debate, and in fact encourage it, but we debate issues, not people! We are adopting a 0 tolerance level with respect to this rule. You are adults and this is being stated clearly, YOU WILL BE BANNED IF YOU ATTACK OR INSULT PEOPLE or PAP. PERIOD.

    2. You will treat the moderators (and myself ) with common courtesy. Randy is a hell of a nice guy and a great asset here at PAP and I dont want to make his job any more difficult than it already is. He has a wealth of knowledge to share with all of us. He and I and the other moderators help out as a service to the community. We dont deserve to be disrespected, have our limits tested or given unwarrented headaches. Follow the golden rule and treat us as you would like to be treated. It's easy.

    3. If you have constructive issues to bring up about PAP or ideas for improvement we would love to hear them. What we will not allow is for people to come in here as our guests and trash us in our own home! This is not too much to ask and we will enforce this rule with 0% tolerance.

It's rude and unprofessional behavior to insult people on their own board. NO ONE, NO ONE, has a "RIGHT" to do so. It's not an issue of free speach or censorship, it's common courtesy and professionalism not to attack your hosts. It is a free country and no one FORCES you to be here. Posting here is not a god given right or something guaranteed under the constitution. It's a PRIVELAGE we extend to our community members. If you abuse that privelage it WILL BE TERMINATED. Dont get me wrong, We love our members and we appreciate your participation, but I will be damned if I am going to be made to feel guilty for protecting my community!

If you really hate PAP or the people here or how we choose to administer things then do the adult thing and leave, you dont have to try to disrupt us for refusing to be molded into YOUR vision of how things ought to be. Create your own community and YOU can dictate board behavior THERE, NOT HERE. Like I said we love ya, but dont shit on us we arent going to put up with it.

Guys I am sorry to vent, but I have been beaten up on my own message board, a place we BUILT and nurtured for years. Believe it or not I am a real person too. I have a family I am trying to feed. I have children who depend on me and I am human, I am NOT perfect. But I do my best and PAP will always do its best to serve you. I know a few people will try to make me out as a monster for wanting PAP to be a professional community and not a fre for all. I can take the heat, it comes with the territory.

Why did all this happen? Probably because we as coproarte parents weren't dilligent enough and assumed PAP was being taken care of and run under the same philopshy we use on all our other communities. It wasnt. It lost alot of its true value and real posts were being replaced with Neteller for ***pal posts, spam, self promotion and a lot of negative and useless crap. Somehow we went off the track, but we are going to right that wrong.

I have had enough and we are going to retake PAP and make it the real asset to our members and the industry that it ws always intended to be. I wont have everyones support, but you can be sure of this, I WILL WEED OUT THIS NEGATIVE CANCER ONCE AND FOR ALL. We will make PAP a positive working enviroment once again. I appologize in advance for some the ruckus this will cause, but it's got to be done.
So far Jeremy, Brandon, Graham, Back in Black, Kaus and many other long time PAP/CAP/PAW members are gone.

Wow! This thread is still going after a full week?? Thanks for all the publicity Michael, maybe this forum should change their name from GPWA to CAP since we seem to be the hottest topic on the boards.

Glad you guys were banned, seems like you're more interested in "forum drama" than making money. Come on over to CAP when you're ready to take yourselves seriously as affiliates and actually make some cash, otherwise you can stay here and keep on crying over spilled milk.

I guess Casinomeister's newsletter from 2003 summed up the GPWA members drama fetish the best. Sad to see things haven't changed in over 5 years...

"...there are a number of webmasters who spend far too much time in other peoples’ portals arguing about this or that in other people’s message boards, when they should be concentrating on their own "portal", policing it up and ensuring that they are promoting legitimate enterprises."

    No.
You don't get to belittle affiliates who have valid complaints of misstreatment.
You don't get to bully people into silence.
    Not anymore.

I am totally shocked and sad to see this attitude from you Arjun, I thought you are not this unprofessional. You are wrong if you think your answer attacked GPWA, you depreciated every people, affiliates/affiliate managers both at CAP and GPWA.

    I am speechless.
