What kind of Car do you Drive?

I have a 2004 toyota carolla. I only have it because it was what was available at the time (long story). I have always driven a Ford previously so I want to trade it. I love Fords although my brother in law is a mechanic and calls them FORD - Found On Road Dead. I disagree! LOL

The good thing is that my toyota it is cute and white with a sunroof and a fishtail thing. The color even matches my house and looks cool in the driveway.

    Whatcha got?

    Excellent choice of song Paula!

Since i moved into my town centre Apt i have no longer a car

Nearest free parking is a bus ride away

I used to ride in the following cars before the move:

    Merc E220

    X Type Jag

    Mitsi L200

Had all from the showroom, so you can imagine how i miss my wheels!

Nowadays i just hire one if i need to or get a cab!

I could claim to being green by getting rid of my cars, but that would be a lie!

    I just bought a 2010 Kia Forte.
So far I've only put 450km on it so I can't really give it a full review yet.
I can say it was a great value... $24,000 fully loaded. Fun to drive, decent sound system, 5 year bumper to bumper warranty...

Wow. You guys are running my dream. I even don't have a professional driver license yet. I'm just one of those poor guy who work hard yet can't gain enough to buy what I want. Hope I'll have one of those someday in my life.

'98 Mitsubishi Carisma. Don't like it very much even though it's a pretty solid car, but it's just too big for Tel-Aviv... I will probably replace it with something better by the end of the year, most likely a Mazda or Toyota

2004 Ford Taurus Wagon, the last station wagon ever made by US auto company.

I put about 7000 miles a year on it, so i've told my 8 year old, that it's likely to be her first car.

I rarely drive these days, since hubby is a retired Over The Road Driver and feels that he needs to be the driver 100% of the time, but we have a 2002 Volvo SE 80 that we are very happy with. It's our second Volvo.

The day after we got it we drove from Denver to Orlando, Orlando to Ohio, Ohio back to Denver over a few weeks on vacation one year. I like how the passenger seat folds forward so I could chill in the back with my boze headset and MP3 player and observe.

Riding and music brings me lots of joy.

I drive a boring VW Passat. It does the trick though. My other car is a bicycle which I ride everywhere.

96 Porsche Carrera 4S, although it is locked away in storage for the next 12 months or so as I travel around. Just couldn't bring myself to sell it and fortunately a friend offered to look after it for me.

My 'practical' car is a 95 BMW 318is which is hardly practical although I have been known to fit three bikes it with a bit of work. I'll sell this before heading overseas in a few months.

I like the idea of the hybrids, it's just that the Prius looks awful. I hired one and it was a weird feeling to not be able to hear the motor whilst sitting at traffic lights etc. The hydrogen powered Lexus looks like a good idea if only the fuel was more widely available. Then there is the Tesla Roadster which looks great, however, a bit too expensive and not available here anyway. Environmentally friendly cars shouldn't need to look ugly.
