When your revenues are down in the summer do you work as hard as ever or relax a bit?

For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere it is summertime. And it is pretty common for gambling affiliate revenue to take a dip over the summer even in good times. In general, I think those folks who gamble spend relatively more time outside in the summer months than inside on their computers.

As affiliates this can present a bit of a dilemma. Do you go with the flow and relax by taking some extra time off, or do you work harder than ever to try to grow your revenue to help make ends meet?

I have been working at the same rate as always which is pretty hard all the time. The way I see it is if players are off enjoying their vacations in the summer sun promoting extra hard would just be a waste of time since they aren't there to see it. I work the same because I know that there will still be some that don't care for the heat and are staying cool in the AC playing games online

To be honest I probably work a little less on my sites in the Summer as I have other things and work interests that occupy my time in the warmer weather.

I love summer, its the best time of the year If my revenue went down a little bit, it wouldn't bother me too much. But if my revenue went down drastically, then I'd probably work harder than ever. Making ends meet and having enough money are top priorities

I am at my cottage 5 days a week and at work 2 days a week the last 6 weeks of the kids summer break .Truthfully our revenue is higher last three months than it ever has been so I do not think gamblers stop playing much in summer at least our players don't.

I tend to work the same as normal because when it is Summer on your side of the world - it is winter on my side of the world - so then I concentrate on my SA sites as the South African gamblers are all indoors and then when it is Summer in SA I concentrate on my overseas sites for the overseas guys stuck indoors.

It's just a differend kind of work... more to do with research and scheming on what new traffic sources I can try in the fall.

I work the same 5am to 5pm 6 days a week. I split the time between my two interests (affiliate marketing & web design/development).

I'm usually on holidays with my family in summer, so I don't do much work. Would probably work a bit harder if I had access to a computer though.

I work probably just a little less as I love summer. It is not that I get lazy, there is just a lot more going on in the summer months. In the winter I hibernate becasue I hate the cold, so I get more work done.
