Where to find free games for website?

    Hello everyone,

I am working on my first website, which will be reviews of casinos and poker rooms, mainly, with a handful of sportsbooks.

I have signed up with many affiliate programs, and that is all in place.

I have the reviews written, banners downloaded, and most of the plan laid out for the website, (although I keep revising that as I go along). I am now ready to actually (try to) build the website.

I would like to have a page or section with a few free games to give visitors something to do, to keep them on the site longer and coming back, hopefully. None of the programs I have signed up with offer anything like that.

Does anyone know where I could find such games? Either free, or very low cost? I'm on a pretty tight budget.

Forgive me if this has been asked and answered before, I did a search here and couldn't find anything.

I have also searched extensively on the web and couldn't find much, really. I did find one place that offered one free game, and another one that was $20 a month, I believe. I tried the free game, and it didn't work right, so I didn't feel like paying for the other one.

Thanks in advance for your help. I've been reading everything and anything on the forum for a few weeks, but just now joined. I appreciate all the information shared here.

Brightshare have a stack of Microgaming games for this. Free to use.

If you don't care about the games being the same software you're promoting, and just want something fun, here's one that I've used and we've had a lot of fun running little free tournaments for our members on this.

    Game Insert

You can also add your own affiliate banners/tags around the game console, which we did.

The person behind this site was very nice to deal with also. I contacted him a few times for various things, and he always replied very quickly and professionally.

If an affiliate program is not small affiliate friendly (especially small US Affiliate), then they are NOT Affiliate Friendly!

    Hi Rick,

If you set it up on your site, YOU get the email addys!!

Our members loved the tournaments we did with this. We did a couple of free to enter tournaments, with small prizes from the sponsoring casinos and used the sponsoring casinos banners with our affiliate tags around the game console. It works nice.

That's pretty cool, Daera...I'm going to use that.

As for the original poster's question, AffiliateLounge use to offer a bunch of free play games for Cherry Casino. I don't really promote them, so don't know if they still do.

I am using the Affiliate Lounge games on a site or two and the games themselves work well and do add that "sticky content" to your site, but obviously if you site is heavily focused on the US they will not give you much in the way of conversions.

That also holds true for Brightshares games. I happen to like Brightshares games even more for the value.

I wish at least one honest RTG and one honest Rival would offer up flash games in a similar fashion to what Brightshare or Affiliate Lounge does.

I don't think any of them have taken the time to investigate this properly and see how much widespread exposure they would gain in days or weeks f they did so.

Since most rtg's offer a flash based version of their sites I think it would likely be an easier leap for them but who knows. I am sure this is something that RTG and Rival would have to be involved in since I think it would be difficult (if not impossible) for the operator to do this without their involvement.

If any software group, operator or casino would like to test anything like this on a live site, don't hesitate to contact me as I would be happy to help with a beta.

    Thanks everyone for the responses.

I tried to sign up with Brightshare, but they want to see a live site, which I don't have yet.

Affiliate Lounge states that affiliate payments are made through a Betsson account. Would I be able to sign up for an account, since I'm in the U.S.?

I, too, wish RTG or Rival or somebody would provide games for affiliate sites. I think they would get a lot of conversions.

Has anyone used Game In A Can?

I'm surprised an Aff Manager hasn't stepped into this thread to offer their free games - they are good for sticky content and can gain good exposure for brands, even if they produce little real players.

I used Game in a Can years ago but pulled them as they kept adding more and more of their own in game advertising. It was getting to the point where I felt any signups had a 50/50 chance of going to someone else.

You could just use viral flash games. These are free to use and are very playable too.

For example arcadevoid.com /categories/card (remove the space)
