MY current host tookdown my site because of the banners (they werent even hosted at my site) but they said they didnt want a gambling portal.. Per their user agreement they have that power to terminate a site by any reaosn..
Can someone tell me a good host?
I thought of going offshore but at the moment it is very expensive. Plus marketing a casino is 100% legally so there are no reasons any US host can deny me.
The owner of GPWA (John) does hosting I believe. His username is casinoglen so you can PM him about it. We use dayanahost.com in Canada and they have been pretty good. $14.99 a year for 10MB and 1 gig a month transfer.
Yes pm John....although he may not be taking on any new clients.
I have hosting as well.....although I do not currently offer a CPanel application. My hosting with a personal based approach, on Windows Servers starts at $20 monthly with 3 gigs of bandwidth per month allocated.
Linux-based hosting will be coming during the next few months.
If you need something in a hurry, pm me and we'll get you up and running right away....and if you decide to move later....no problems and no hard feelings....no reason to have down time more than necessary....and your total risk for a 30 day emergency trial or temp move space....is a one month fee of $20 (based upon bandwidth)
This goes for anyone....you have a problem with a host....and need to move a site in a hurry....pm me....provide phone contact detail and we'll talk...
I use a variety of hosts because I'm a domain collector. Two of the best that I use and offer Linux virtual hosting are www.cyberwurx.com and www.varzi.net
I use multiple hosts to get sites into different IP blocks for cross-pollenation.
Might be that I am being naive, but I'm optimistic about the future of the industry.
I tried several locations in the UK, and have yet to find a reliable network with decent uptime, at prices that a person can afford. Even what I did have was high priced and the service wasn't very good.
