I think for us affiliates one source of hope is Barnie Frank. Let's see what he can do in the new Congress. The current administration is trying its best to keep UIGEA alive. The latest move is the rule forcing the financial institutions to implement UIGEA-compliant regualtions by December 2009. This rule will come into effect on January 19 - one day before Obama's inauguration ceremony.
