    Question Why do you attend iGaming conferences?

    There are many reasons affiliates attend iGaming industry conferences.

    Some examples include getting a pulse on the industry, meeting with affiliates, affiliate managers or industry suppliers. attending networking events or parties, attending conference sessions, or simply to get away for a few days.

    Besides voting in the poll to indicate some of the most important reasons for attending trade shows from your perspective, be sure to post about your personal experiences. Share some of the high points, and maybe some of the low points as well.

    I'm especially interested in understanding how you feel conferences have most benefited you. And how important conference sessions have been for you.

    I attend 2-3 conferences a year, only the biggest ones. The main goal is to meet with affiliate managers so my day is always filled with meetings. Conferences are a great opportunity to catch up and meet face to face with the managers. I rarely attend training sessions as I don't find them useful at all.

    1. The free drinks.
    2. The free goodies.
    3. The pretty ladies.
    4. Meeting other affiliates.
    5. Meeting affiliate managers.

    Usually to negotiate better deals, (when adding new brands) or improve current deals... I usually do just one day then the rest enjoy the country

    For me personally there are a number of reasons. I want to get to know up close the people I am working with. I have also gotten to know that affiliate managers are much more willing to negotiate a better deal at conferences as opposed to Skype or any other IM. Also, the insights you get from such conferences are often valuable and just talking to people there might give you a whole new stream of ideas to work on.

    I use this forum for new ideas so one more reason not to go haha
    But gotta admit, swaying people to your terms of a deal is a lot easier in person.
