Default Winner - Calm it with the spam!

    Dear Winner,

Like many other webmasters, I own multiple sites, portals, blogs etc, and every day through my various email accounts, I am blocking your domain because of the ridiculous amount of spam that's been sent my way. Would much appreciate it if Avichai Koor stopped sending me rubbish daily trying to get banner placements on my websites.

It's the classic format of email, I've no idea who falls for this sh*t and actually signs up (never mind your casino's abysmal reputation for affiliates). This type of email is what I call 'The Ladbrokes' and usually that consists of the following 3 things:

    1) An Israeli
    2) A promise to convert like no other book/casino and better than all your existing offers
    3) A commission rate/CPA that's just ridiculous and dubious on whether will even be followed through.

    To whom this may concern.
Thank you for your response and feedback. I appreciate that and we will take it on board.
However, what we at Winner don't appreciate is the inappropriate manner in which you addressed this situation. The use of derogatory language is not only a sign of unprofessionalism in itself, but also shows a lack of ethic of how to deal with situations that you come across on a daily basis and I can only hope you haven't acted the same way in the past.

What exactly is derogatory in the OP? I do not see it. Please elaborate.

Spam is spam - And, that's what a mail becomes when a person/company makes it clear that they don't want to receive any more!

I'm failing to see what you find derogatory - Since the poster is simply trying to stop mails that he doesn't want.

I'd imagine thats what he took offence to, hardly relevant that he is an Israeli is it, Surely just a request for no more spam instead of bringing his race into it would have done the job?

he hasn't brought race into it. Actually it is relevant as a high proportion of spam from affiliate companies is from companies that are based in Israel. That isn't racist, or derogatory, or disrespectful, it is just a true fact. Not saying all firms based out there are spammers but most of the spam I get is from firms there, and I'm sure most would agree

I do not consider it being racist, mentioning that he's an Israeli, people are too fast yelling things are racist nowadays, but I do not think it's a necessairy part of making your point. I think it would be a better addition to mention how crap Winner is not just for affiliates, but also for players, the people that in fact are paying our earnings. But calling everything 'racist' is something that is happening too much nowadays.

Reaction of Avichai is also poor. I can imagine he's pissed off because his nationality is involved, but his post is something like "Thanks for your feedback, we will take it to the board, but hey... we don't give a **** and by the way bla bla bla".

They'd better put their energy in improving their product: pay players, pay affiliates, dont screw them with dodgy terms, pay them on time, etc instead of making a point that someone is mentioning Israel here.

It's nothing against Israel. Some poor and dodgy programs like also Aff Utd and Ladbrokes operating from is Israel is something we all notice. I would love to prefer Israel based programs, but many of them are dodgy...

    God bless Israel!
