World Bingo affiliates

Hi,

With heavy heart, I am informing the gpwa members that yesterday I quit my job at World Bingo Affiliates after 4 years (3.5 years of them were great).

In the last 6 months, there have been some major cashflow problems at WBA, some processors disappeared with the money. I am being owed half a year of salary, affiliates are owed alot of money as well, more than what WBA can pay or recover in the future.

3 days ago I was informed that the budget for affiliate payments for January is about 10% of what needed to be paid, as a result, I decided to stop working with WBA starting from next week.

The group doesn't have an affiliate manager who take care of affiliates anymore, as a result, it's a warning that many affiliates probably wont be receiving a lifetime commission for the traffic they send.

I know that The staff members and owners are doing their best at this situation and they do care about affiliates but their financial problems are extremely deep for too long now and it came to worst in the last 2 weeks.

For me, affiliates come first and I agreed to delay my salary inorder to pay more affiliates for the last 6 months but I cant keep on working after they missed 6 salaries.

That warning is also valid for the casino operation Lucky Click Club.
The affiliate manager David has quit as well for the same reasons.

I am looking forward to working with the gpwa members in the future!

Hi guys, thanks Ron for the warning. Usually I didn't have any problems with WBA, they always paid on time. And now I have just checked my EcoCard account, and I've seen that they have already paid my January commissions.

But I will keep eyes on them.

Before I left, I made sure they have all the details to pay affiliates for January.
As far as I know they will be paying affiliates via alternative payment methods like ECO card and Neteller this month but not via wire.
From next month, I really dont know nor I have the contact details of a new affiliate manager (they dont have at the moment) to check this out.

Richard, you sure can post it anywhere you want, it's public info.

Hey Ron,

I'm sorry to hear about this. I'd pulled back on promoting Word Bingo properties after the 'no negative carryover' thing disappeared from the home page of the affiliate site. This happened after I had a big winner - no surprises there, right?

It's a shame as WBA had a good offering for bingo players. Anyway, mate, good luck to you in the future. If you turn up at another US facing bingo program. let me know.

I'm currently familiarizing myself with all affiliates and specifically any pending payments which have top priority for us at this time.

An inexprienced relative of one of the WBN managers which mean a yes woman as she wont have the ability to fight for the affiliates like a good affiliate manager do esp when operators show their bad sides by not honoring agreements and low prioritizing affiliate payments.
But i guess it's better than nothing, if WBA owe commission to anyone, now you have an address to contact so it's good news and I do wish her success at her new job.
It still doesnt help solving the major cashflow problems so I assume affiliates who earn low commissions will get paid by alternative payment methods such as Neteller, ECO and QuickTender. Affiliates who earn commissions by wire -
Affiliates whom WBA owe alot of money, most likely wont get fully paid in the next several months so I can only recommend proceed with caution.

This is Ron, I am no longer using the nickname worldbingo as it is the brand name of the company I am no longer working for.

Btw, some affiliates told me today that they cant access their lucky click club affiliate accounts. Since i opened few demo aff accounts while working for them, I noticed today that affiliate accounts with no real money activity are login fine while accounts with real money activity get an error message and cannot be logged in.

the error message is:

An error occurred on the server when processing the URL.
Please contact the system administrator.

While logging with incorrect login details simple redirect to the homepage.

It is too selective to be random I think. Very strange, maybe it's a weird bug.

Ron, This is sad news indeed, as you were a pleasure to deal with and I never recall a late payment...until now...which stands to reason now that you are no longer there.

I recently received the same email from Julie and when I notified her that I was still waiting for my payment for January 2010 earnings, she politely informs me that I had no earnings!!

Funny how I have earned in the region of $400.00 every month for the past 3 years or so, and now suddenly January earnings have myseteriously disappeared. I am still waiting for a response to my email....

it is correct that I receved December commission but I earned $368.48 in January 2010 and this is the commission payment I am referring to that I have not received.

I checked with our Accounting Department regarding pending commmisions payment - and they replied that you were paid for Dec 09 commissions via EcoCard in the amount of $400.35.

I do not have any records for pending commissions for Jan 10. If you are referring to Feb 10 - those will not be processed until next March.

World Bingo Affiliates didn't pay me my April commisions. Usually they paid every month without any delays and problems. But this month they didn't pay me. Affiliate manager Julie Burton every time told me that they sent money to EcoCard and soon they would pay me April commissions to my EcoCard account.

But I'm still waiting for my commissions.

It is a shame because they used to be one of the best programs in terms of payments and since Ron left they have sadly slipped to become one of the worst.
I used to make $400.00 minimum there for months and months and since the change I am lucky if I even make $20.00 now.
I am convinced they have removed a regular player of mine but have no way of proving it.
Julie seems quite good and is quite helpful but I think there is other stuff going on behind the scenes which is beyond her control.

It was bad to hear that even though working for four years you didn't get your salary for six years. Sometimes this situation comes to everyone and good thing was that you wait for six months. According to me you did great by leaving the job. If I would have been at your place I would have left the job in 3 months.
