Are you planning to participate in the nomination process? Have you already made your nominations?

This is your chance to participate in recognizing the best affiliate programs, the best affiliate networks, the best iGaming software, the best payment system, the best affiliate managers, and the best affiliates in the industry.

Vote early. Vote often (well, not really, you can only cast one set of nominations).

a) Not productive use of my time... nothing in it for me (sometimes, I need to be selfish... This isn't like helping a webmaster who could use advice)

iGB and CAP have gone separate ways. I believe these awards have nothing to do with CAP or Lou or Warren. I never participated in the voting before, but am this year now that I understand they are divorced from one another.

Neither Lou or Warren are handing out these awards - They are re named, re branded etc etc and as you can see they are called iGB Affiliate Awards

Awards are about saying thank you and welldone to managers, companies and affiliates that the community believe have set themselves apart for a number of reasons. Personally I think they are great and a positive thing in this industry.

I have also personally been closely involved in the awards since launch and can 100% vouch for their integrity and the winners that won them then and in 2010 fully deserved them.

We definitely appreciate the votes! (and the awards )

These awards probably don't mean much to a lot of people for whatever reason (i.e. there is nothing in it for them, or they don't think there is integrity or whatever) but I can tell you from an affiliate manager who doesn't get to go to all the flashy parties and conferences and meet all you guys, didn't have a blackberry until about 2 months ago so was only able to answer emails during office hours, and doesn't work from home, to have been elected as the best at what I do, 2 years in a row, on top of all the other hard working aff managers that also do an amazing job is actually very flattering and does mean a lot. It's not just a piece of glass but something to put in my CV for future too. It means a lot that so many people think of what I do so highly. Surely that's gotta mean something and be worth the effort to vote for someone you think deserves some praise?

Some of us aff managers don't get too much praise from the top, and since these come directly from the people we work with (i.e. the affiliates) it means a whole lot more.
