What gets me is that they reinstated the last video saying there was nothing wrong with it. So how can this be multiple violations.

Why do you guys not host your own videos here like Calvin Ayre does with his? Surely you guys can figure a way to do this or you could always ask Calvin to host them for you. No need to keep screwing around with YouTube

The exact same thing happened to one of my friends, but he was using a program to automatically invite and add YouTube friends. YouTube must have picked up on it.

I'm so glad I don't have a YouTube account, I prefer good old fashioned link building

I think all social networks do that, they detect if a new account is getting new friends quickly, and take it that you are a bot.

We got flagged for commercially deceptive content, twice. After the first suspension youtube investigated and said we were not in violation of any policy and our account was in good standing. Then with the last one they said we were repeat offenders and suspended the channel. So now it is another waiting game to hear back from them.

All the more reason that you guys should be hosting the videos yourself, and use YouTube, Meta and others as an additional conduit source.

If you're looking for an alternate place to host, have a look at Vimeo: http://vimeo.com/

The pro version is $200/yr and it can be used for commercial videos with adverts. Our wedding videographer used them and I was pretty impressed. And you can imbed videos on sites/forums, just like youtube.

Edit: Maybe I spoke too soon, just found this in the terms - You may NOT upload videos that: Promote fraudulent schemes, multi level marketing (MLM) schemes, get rich quick schemes, online gaming and gambling, cash gifting, work from home businesses, or any other dubious money-making ventures.

I hope this gets sorted out fast I enjoy hosting the videos on my website. I have to remove the code for now until it is fixed. But as soon as iy is fixed I will put it right back!

Sorry about that. I inadequately tested the switch to a different video service. we were not utilizing the width attribute passed via javascript. The webmaster feed should now be behaving properly.
