Occupation: Full-time handicapper and publisher of ProfessionalGambler.com
BIOGRAPHYGrowing up, my father had two careers. He was a television writer for the classic TV show Hee Haw, among others. And, he was a professional gambler. Needless to say, half of my childhood was in Vegas and the other half in Nashville. I joke that I grew up with rednecks and wiseguys. My father, the late J.R. Miller, was fairly well-known author and handicapper. He wrote the book "How Professional Gamblers Beat the Pro Football Pointspread." The book led to selling picks. Dad started "Professional Gambler Newsletter" in 1991. It was sent via US mail and handicapped NFL. In 1997, he launched ProfessionalGambler.com - one of the first five handicapping websites in history. I joined the business in 2000 at age 25. He died in 2014. Today we still sell picks in Professional Gambler Newsletter. Since taking over, I have taken ProfessionalGambler.com to new heights. According to ALEXA we are the 24th sports picks and handicapping website in the world. http://www.alexa.com/topsites/category;2/Games/Gambling/Sports/Tipping_and_Handicapping Dad was a promoter at heart. He never saw the front of a camera he didn't love. I am the opposite. My reserved nature is probably bad for business, so I am hopeful to benefit from this organization. Thank you.
