Genesis Global Limited license suspended by the MGA

(PRESS RELEASE) -- The Malta Gaming Authority is suspending the authorization awarded to Genesis Global Limited, holder of MGA license MGA/CRP/314/2015, effective as of 16 January 2023 in terms of reg. 8 (1) (f) of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations.

This sanction is being imposed upon the Authorized Person for having breached Reg. 9 (1) (f) of the Regulations since the Authorized Person is being wound up. The Authorized Person is thus no longer authorized to carry out any gaming operations, register new players or accept new customer deposits, and must continue collaborating with the Authority.

This decision may be subject to an appeal in terms of article 43 of the Gaming Act (Chapter 583 of the Laws of Malta).
