Default 100 page site or 10 x 10 page sites?

I'm curious as to what the affiliates here believe is better for seo. One site with 100 good quality pages or 10 sites with 10 pages of good quality pages?

How about ten sites w/ more than 100 pages updated daily w/ fresh content. My sites all have over 500 pages. Which bring me new search keywords daily.

That's a great question. I've been wondering the same. I tried both where I created 10 smaller sites and then one larger one. The smaller sites were feeding the larger one with targeted links.

I think that if your smaller sites had keyword based domain names and the content was original then make some extreme niche sites to see how they work. I would however make one dominant site with more content with more emphasis in quality.

I had a 19 page site earning $30,000 a month ,still own the site now it has about 1000 pages and earns about $100,000 a month. It really depends how good these 10 pages are .we have good 30-40 page sites earning steady money too.All sites start off small and then after years become big.KEY IS TO NEVER LET A SITE GO DEAD WITH OUTDATED CONTENT .

    1 site with 100 pages bud.....why ?

    - you need the traffic
    - 10 sites = 10 x seo
    - 10 sites = 10 x check for dead links, outdated content.
    - do not make the same mistake I made : small sites can bring you some money but they will never rock in SE or you must be lucky...........

finish 1 start the next one .... or you have an extra pair of hands to help.....

i bought a 2000+ page website three years ago that google had not crawled in two months was a nightmare. With proper structure , more content and SEO it turned out to be one of our best. There is no right and wrong answer on this question.Chris you have worked on both sites i spoke about in this thread

If you're targeting a popular niche like "online casinos", then the more content the better IMO. The more of everything in fact LOL. However, if you are after a less competitive niche and have a decent domain, you can often get away with 10. But in both instances there are more factors involved and its not so much the quantity of pages, as to what they say and do!

So now i have decided to enter the casino side of things and spent a week on my new portal i am now about 479 pages short of success?

LOL, hell will freeze over before i reach 1000 pages at this rate, although i am under no illusions and would tend to agree that content is the major factor of success.

Well at least that is the case in the rakeback sector which is much less competitive it seems.
