    Default 10bet - ridiculous payout T&C - BEWARE

    Folks,

I think this program is not a part of GPWA but still I wanted to share my experience as widely as possible.

I run a very small affiliate site and over the years been partnering with many bookies. This one needs to be shared though.

I have been an affiliate of 10bet.com for well over 3 years now - true, I never referred much traffic to any bookie as my site is a sort of a pass-time work, however I manage to get a few buck here and there.

I had not checked my affiliate accounts for months until last night when I saw there is well over 500 eur accumulated in 10bet. There was NO withdrawal option in the account, so I wrote an email to account manager (Roy Meckenzie).

Guess what - small sites like mine can NEVER get their money out of 10bet!!

I can't withdraw those 500+ euros, though, as I need to refer AT LEAST 5 active customers per quarter to get a payout!

"Associate payments are granted on a monthly basis and payable by the 15th of the month following the month in question. In order of processing a payment for a certain period, (i) the referring of at least 5 new active users for the period in question is required and (ii) payment should be for a minimum amount of $100 or equivalent."

I've seen minimum amount requirement, negative carryovers, etc, etc, but to my astonishment - this is something ridiculous - you can't get money out unless you get more people in!!

Over time I have referred 51 customers to 10bet but still I can't get a payout!

DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM - THEY WILL CHEAT AND TAKE YOUR MONEY AWAY!

I checked wayback machine and found these terms from April 2006.

It appears they have made some changes to their affiliate terms over the years so I suggest if you know the exact date you joined their program, check the archives, you may have a case against them.

Terms as they appeared April 5, 2006:

I did note they currently impose quotas and have NCO - not a program I would want to do business with!!

    Good luck!

    Thanks,

I checked records - registered in April 2007 - so that means I must admit and accept being ripped off

I don't think so - at least I will give them as much bad publicity as there can be

Here are the relevant terms from February 2007 - the only set of terms I could get to load from around the time you joined them:

    1. Associate payments are granted on a quarterly basis and payable by the 15th of the month following the quarter in question. In order a payment for a period to be processed, (i) the referring of at least one new active user for the period in question is required and (ii) payment should be for a minimum amount of 50$ or equivalent.
    2. Your 10Bet affiliate account must have a minimum of 5 active referred Customers (customers that had deposited funds and placed bets of at least 3 times their initial deposits).

There are a couple of organizations that may be able to help you out.
The Gambling Affiliates Union and Affiliate Guard Dog both act as affiliate advocates.

Bad firm that do not deserve your traffic old boy.

Webmasters, we, must not waste our time sending traffic to rogues, that do not serve the player, because we lose more money that way.

    Cheers.

So very true - I feel quite cheated myself.

Will continue to chase these guys at 10bet, however it looks like this is a well-known practice on their end and nobody really trusts them anymore... should have figured it out earlier

Just ask them to pay you anyway.
I have referred far few players than you and was in the same boat, I e-mailed Roy and they paid me OK.
(That was May 2009 - and they paid me again in January this year).

However, I STRONGLY advise against anyone else signing up with 10Bet due to this term & the Negative Carry over.
I had a player win big there last month which means I will probably NEVER see another cent from them.

NCO for small affiliates is just a TOTAL NIGHTMARE waiting to happen - trust me, you don't want to go there.
It's even worse when someone applies this term retroactively, like TRADITION casino did last month...

I did email him a few times before I hit the forum. He either replies with a copy of their amazingly hilarious T&C OR simply neglects my emails

I dropped 10bet for this exact reason, i did get paid etc because i fortunately met their criteria but did not want a situation that may develop in the future.

From my understanding terms have been like that since i can remember and even though i wont promote them under these circumstances i cannot class them as rogue,

I am unaware of any player issues to date and unaware of them not paying any affiliate that has met their criteria which are laid out.

All that said i would suggest you email them before you make any more posts and see if you can resolve this situation, they may well pay you, especially if you have already refered 51 players.

Might try and log in to my old account there and see how many i refered before i dropped them.

They must have refused to honour an Ibas ruling Betpartners.

That in itself is borderline rogue in 1 hit.

However, Ibas are far from perfect, so the devil will be in the detail I'm sure.

Ibas need to update thier own website to reflect they've yanked thier Ibas sticker, to go along with the repeated rquests for 10bet to remove it from thier website.

& the Gaming Commish a far as I'm aware, should have yanked thier license for non compliance of an Ibas ruling.

    All very odd indeed.

I think the thread starter should stick in there and get paid regardless of these kind of intrinsically unfair rules. These are not partnership building rules. I don't like them any more than bonus abuse accusations aimed at advantage players.

I have no idea about any of that to be honest simply because i have not investigated them or had anything to do with them in a fairly long time so it would be no surprise to me at all if there are numerous incidents that are questionable.

Think i should email them and clarify some things.
