13 years gone, making a re-entry in iGaming

Hi all,

I just wanted to let most of you know that after +-13 years I am back in iGaming again. For those that remember me, I was that Dutch kid back in 2007 looking to become a casino affiliate. Did it, moved into finance and binary later, became a top affiliate, went wasting my early 20's in SEA. Anyway, back in Europe now with some nice aged domains, ready to get back in.

I will be asking loads of questions as a lot has changed, obviously. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I hope to see most of the ''old'' faces upcoming conferences and here on the forums

I see even Michael Corfman thanked the post. I remember even your stand with the nice GPWA magazines back then. All about how poker was the next big verticle and how raketherake found a niche in rakeback deals so early. Inspired me to focus a lot on poker in the beginning. As for verticles now, I guess still slots the #1 by far? Anyway, thanks once more for all the welcome backs and thanks!

I am now focusing on eSports for a future project. Seems like there is a lot of potential there.

I agree on the first three regarding the size of the market.

The others are probably so small that the order doesn't matter.

This doesn't mean that they cannot be profitable, though.

For traffic? Sure.

For money? Meh...

But then again, less competition means you can likely carve out a slice of the pie, regardless of how small or large it may be!

There are 7 figure a month bingo affiliates out there in the wild. Just because a market is small doesn't mean it cannot be profitable for a knowledgeable and dedicated affiliate!

I'm thinking the same as the niche is still accesible and not so heavily competed compared to the oldschool verticals.

I know right! I once met this guy who owned bingoport, had his own helicopter since he was 20. And that's just bingo UK focussed!

Depends on the country - I'd definitely put bingo ahead of poker for the UK market.

I agree that it depends on country. For UK bingo definitely higher than poker. But for instance lottery also very high in Belgium.
