    This email explains it all;

    I also received all my earning with them few days back, so it is fair end of the partnership. If they decided to close the program, up to them - it is just a business decision that we all have to do at times.

    Hi,

    Thank you for getting in touch.

    You are unable to login as your account on the 188BET Affiliate Programme is now inactive.

    Following recent rulings against operators for non-compliant advertisers, 188BET made the business decision to close your account as we are streamlining the programme and only working with a select number of partners moving forward. The decision has been made by 188BET to safeguard consumers. This will enable us to manage the account more effectively and ensure compliant advertising.

    An email communication was sent out on October 24th 2017 to the following email address xxxx informing you of account closure.

    Please note that this decision is nothing personal but we have to draw the line somewhere to better ensure compliancy across the whole programme.

    We kindly ask you to please update your site(s) and take down any 188BET promotion as you are no longer contracted to work with 188BET.

    We’d like to thank you for all the hard work you have devoted to your 188BET campaign until now, it’s much appreciated.

    Regards,
    188BET Affiliate Team

    ...
    It's indeed a business decision, the problem is that many are closing and opening again under "new" name, fresh start and all the affiliate money in their pocket... so fair or not it's up for interpretation.
    If you had CPA deals - it's fair
    If you are on Rev-share deals ... well you lose !

    I consider myself lucky that they do not want my kidney or something like that.

    Well i'm not removing their page from the site because it brings in too much traffic each month but repalced their link in bold (and promos / t&c stuff) with:

    The operator has advised us they do not wish to be linked from our directory, therefore please search '188BET' on Google to visit

    Another approach to ensure compliance could have been just to ask all the affiliates about all their activities related to 188BET brand. Why close and hurt all the relationships they have worked so hard to create over the years? And why only work with selected partners – little strokes fell great oaks.
