60 Minutes story on AP and UB could air October 26
Poker News Daily is reporting that 60 Minutes may air a story about the cheating scandals that rocked AP and UB on Oct. 26, just over a week before the general election.

The truth needs to be told .....If it airs I'm just hoping it helps instead of giving the industry a (another) big black eye .

Black eye or not. The poker playing public needs to be informed. I'm very happy that the main stream media is finally taking an interest in this.

Oh I don't disagree on that point. I've written several articles about the AP/UB situation.
60 minutes is probably less biased than others so maybe they'll focus on the fact this was found out and by who? rather than on beating up online gambling in general.

I'm hoping they hit on the subject of regulation myself. Maybe even the UIGEA and the fight against it will come up. I'm still amazed at the amount of folk that I meet that have never heard anything about it , or even know what it is .

Air date of AP story still uncertain
Poker News Daily has not been able to confirm that the 60 minutes story will be airing this weekend.
