The pokercam feature is interesting, and I'm intrigued to the rules behind it.

Are webcams a requirement to sit at a pokercam table? I'm assuming so as otherwise players with a webcam would be at a disadvantage.

So what happens if a player shuts off their webcam mid hand, or something happens to their webcam? Does it count as a disconnection?

I couldn't find much info on the 888poker website so any knowledge you can send my way would be greatly appreciated!

    Cool Poker cam great vibe!!!

we DEFINITELY see a lot of fun in these tables with members that are playing for long hours, speaking and chatting MUCH MUCH more in comparison to non-video tables and most important – they seem to have a lot of fun. You see poker faces, even on micro-stake tables along with funny things that are going on. It is simply amazing. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED to actually enter these tables and experience the atmosphere – you will not want to leave the table, believe me
    <O
Nothing technical or mathematical – there is a great vibe in these tables and players return to play day in and day out.<O

Hi, not sure if you saw my questions above (guessing you didn't). I'm very curious to know the answers (as I'm sure others are) so any info you can give me would be appreciated. In case you missed it, the question I was asking was...

    • Are webcams a requirement to sit at a pokercam table?
    • What happens if a player shuts off their webcam mid hand, or something happens to their webcam? Does it count as a disconnection?

    Thanks!

Yes webcams are a requirement and if the webcam shuts off you keep playing it will not affect the game

As a quick update on baldidiot's question, if the webcam is turned off during a game the player will be removed from the table at the end of that current hand they are playing.

Let us know if you have any further queries regarding any features of any of our products.

    Thanks,
