When you say "cloud based", can you go into more detail about that?
What exactly is in YOUR cloud?
Are the affiliate's usernames and passwords for the affiliate programs stored in "your cloud"?
Are the affiliate's actual stats stored in "your cloud"?

Thank you for your questions. You raised very important issues, which we have spend lot of time to design and implement securely.First of all, when we say that we are "cloud based" we really mean it.
It's not just a marketing gimmick. We utilize Google cloud services to store affiliate data and it's automatically encrypted, and it's SSAE 16, ISO 27001, PCI DSS v3.0, and HIPAA compliant.
We take the protection of affiliate data very seriously. We do not store the usernames and passwords into cloud with the affiliate data. Instead we use encrypted password vault on a different server, which contains just our internal ids and credentials.
The cloud storage and the vault server are not directly connected to each other. If the password vault would be for any reason compromised, there is no details about to which site or to whom the credentials belongs so the data would be useless as it is.
I hope that my answer cleared these very important issues.

(Can't post links yet :) )
The good thing about Statsremote was the fact all login details were stored locally on the user's computer and not in a cloud or uploaded to the software provider. Whilst not brilliant IMO, at least Nifty Stats also does not require you to upload your logins and passwords. AffReportLTD, regardless of the security implemented, I doubt any affiliate will be comfortable uploading their account logins and passwords.
Hi Webzcas and thanks for your response,
We are very aware of that many affiliates are not comfortable sharing their credentials and we respect their choice. However, we are really happy that we have also found people who are open to try this new tool and hopefully they can also share their honest feedback soon.

Joonas
... same rubbish like Adge.com - They get my credits, my money and my stats.Quote:

I get a nice looking, cloud hosted Excel sheet! :eyebrow:
And in same second i see on Adge.com homepage a closing notice.
Affreport.com is a second try under different brand name?
Just coincidence that they closed it almost in same time. Adge was one of the reasons why we wanted to make a tool with better user experience, but we have nothing to do with them. We are not affiliates ourselves either.

I´m super skeptical about the cloud services not only in this industry and i got goosebumps one "PRO € XXX".
What about requests for new programs?
Maybe i´ll sign up for a free account
Requests for new programs depends what program is in mind. We just added Coral Affiliates and BetVictor Affiliates to one beta user. Took about 10 minutes with his friendly help. Netrefer accounts has done in minutes so far.Quote:

I use niftystats, because is still the best tool on the market - and the data is stored on my system for only 20 Bucks / Month.
Btw this tool http://statsdrone.com/ got introduced some days ago...
Ok ... means, you can add Netrefer, MyAffiliates etc etc ...Quote:

I had it for two weeks, it looks like a nerd version of something cool. After Mac restarts i had to setup any preferences again and again. Not worth the 20 bucks.Quote:

I do wish you the best, and I look forward to this system offering being helpful to affiliates that would like to use it, but would prefer to only try software that would run locally and only store usernames and passwords locally.
