    Default Thank You

Thank you for all your responses to our issue.

Our aim by positing this topic was not to 'win' or 'lose'

We wanted to raise awareness to various affiliates in order to protect the community.

We would never publish contracts, e-mails and other affiliate information due to privacy. Even though such information would prove our case beyond doubt.

The issues of prepayments and legal suits are important issues but are secondary to this thread.

I sincerely hope that the affiliates in question were impacted by being mentioned and that their future dealings with their fellow webmasters and affiliate programs will be of an honest nature.

Affeurope rep. how do you follow up on several requests to stop one of your spammy affiliates?

Up to now your casino support reps. act as if they are dumb and from your affiliate program reps. nothing but silence...

Have sent them 6 emails with the request to trace down your spammer via the links in the emails but still nothing....

    Cheers

    Hippie

When doing a media buy or pre-pay the Insertion Order must lay out EVERY detail of the agreement/expectations if repayment for a failed campaign is expected then it needs to be put in writting.

Personally, I'd either give some of the money back or keep the brand up until you produce the results for an agreed amount of additional time.

Cover your butt and make iron clad IO's then you have a way to recoop funds and a reason to 'out' someone that takes and don't produce. This is to protect BOTH parties.

    Hei guys

i think you should take this thread offline looks like it would be easy to turn this into a messy public thread.

Good luck in sorting this out.

Players & affs use the boards to get what's thiers.

I trust this firm affeurope are in good standing, as they are sponsors here at the gpwa.

This issue is now being taken offline.

By now the majority of the online gaming forum community knows the issues regarding Axel and Tomi.

We have already received several emails from programs and webmasters that will no longer work with them.

I am glad that we have managed to protect the affiliate community whilst maintaining our policy of not posting confidential information.

We assume that you are man and you will pay the funds back if not I have to say it is better that you leave the business now rather than really upset a prgram.

If you think you go through life taking funds that do not belong to you soon you will have huge problems.

    Hang on a second guys

Unless i am missing something here has the case been proven against this webmaster, i dont recall seeing any proof.

Also this guy dont speak English that well as shown in a previous post and reading that statement i interpretated it that he meant it was his last day working as a webmaster with AffEurope.

So not sure why everyone is taking as a given that the webmaster is in the wrong here.

I am not saying he is not, not at all, so dont flame me, i am just saying weres the proof.

Show me the proof and i will back the program 100%

And dont forget that from the get go it was said to the program in question to provide the proof, they have not yet and may not be able to due to privacy etc.

But from what i can gather the GAU offered its assistance as an arbitrator in this and the program refused.

    Just my 2 cents

I agree proof should be presented.

This is my issue with the name of this forum.
Just by posting the other party is branded "Unethical"
This goes both for affiliates and programs.

Issue Resolution Forum, or something like that, where the issue can be aired without being publicly branded unethical.

    Just my personal thoughts.

If there is an interest, we can open a new thread to discuss it. I don't want to derail this thread.

I can see this from all points but I am sure affEurope would not post if unless he was 150% sure he got nailed, anybody who has been in this business for more than a week knows how easy it is to get flamed in the forums if you post lies ect.

I dont see why they would pist otherwise.

Just my 2 cents worth .

I'm curious (unless I missed it somewhere)....if this was a media buy for placement of creatives, links or whatever, did the media buy specifically say that the affiliate would send x number of traffic to the affeurope sites? Because if it was just for placement to gain better exposure I sure as heck wouldn't send them any money back. It's like buying an ad in a newspaper....the newspaper can't guarantee that you'll get more traffic just because you placed the ad.

Now, if it was a media buy to send X number of traffic, then that's a whole different ballgame. Affiliate should return the money and learn from his mistake.

Sorry if this is a derail.
