There has been no progress in working this out in public.

I would be happy to work with Alex and AffEurope to look at the facts.

I have PM both and will report back if they are willing to talk.

You really need a way to start these things in private. Would be much more beneficial to both parties, IMO

Sorry--I made my post immediately after reading Schalk's. I'll defer to Anthony, if that's preferred by both parties.

Nir I am sorry but I assumed you are the aff manager.Honestly I thought you would have handled this better than the person affeurope. Now that I know you are not that poster ,maybe you can give your coworker some advise on this matter since you both work for same company

Thumbs down Affiliate Or Affiliate Manager

Regardless weather this is an affiliate issue or Affiliate Manager issue, these sorts of problems should be conducted privately with GPWA prior to anyone being allowed to slam each other.

    It doesnt help anyone

To be fair, I can understand why they did it the way they did.

Obviously they tried to work it out privately (as can be seen by the MSN posted, and probably lots more communication we haven't seen), and failed.

From the program's side, involving the GPWA prior to posting would have helped zilch. What would they do if they found in the programs favour? I mean the affiliate didn't even have a forum account before the accusation was posted.

The only recourse the program had was to warn other programs, so they could hit the other party where it hurts: in the pocket. This obviously jolted the affiliate into action (they even became a forum member), and perhaps now discussions can start.

I can understand why affiliates would be apprehensive about something like this, because it sets a very scary precedent. e.g. If a program has a fallout, or decides that they don't want to pay, it's a race to see who can out who first as a "fraud" on the forums.

So I propose the following to Michael, Steven and the gang:

If anyone (affiliate program) wish to post, and "expose" another party in this forum, they FULLY AGREE to have the issue mediated (by GAU, GPWA, APWC, AGD or whoever), and you're fully prepared to provide any proof or information requested to the chosen arbitrator.

You also need to provide contact details of the accused person to the GPWA so they can make sure that the person is also immediately made aware of the thread.

If the program refuses, the thread is locked and a simple message saying: "XXXX has refused arbitration assistance", or it's simply deleted.

If the accused party refuses, the thread stays open, so people could be warned of the risk of a possible rip off.

The point is, the thread needs to go up and be visible to others, as to jolt both parties into action to get it resolved. BUT, a thread can't be posted, saying "XXX is a fraud, but no thanks, we don't want the issue arbitrated, we'll keep the proof to ourselves".

Just a quick idea. May have holes, feel free to rip it apart.

    Good luck in the industry......
    - I personally didn't find any evidence in this thread that Axel lied about his name or posted as other users

    - Neither do I recall to see evidence the person you mention lied or lies about owing money.

    - As far as I know Betpartners and me had a different view on a few issues (if you mean that with started a fight) and not the affiliate(s) that you have an issue with.

You keep trying to bend this story by accusing people of not being who they are. Your accusation of what the affiliate has done to you (your program) has yet to proved by you!

Your post with the msn chat doesn't prove anything (in fact not one single post of you does), imho it even raises more questions then that it provides answers!

And last but not least, it is interesting to read how a co-worker of you (your program) reacts when a poster in this thread assumes he is the writer of your posts. It gives me an idea how things work in your office.

ps. Just to refresh memories, you started this thread with an accusation, so proof it!

It appears we have been pushed into a corner. if we publish the evidence we win the case but will then be accused of breaching the affiliates rights. I am surprised that this is the way it has turned out but I guess sometimes there is no real winner in a forum thread.

I would seriously consider asking a third party like Greedy Girl to help. Or commence legal proceedings.

Adding to this thread, so it would seem is not helping.

I'm surprised by YOUR reply. I would suggest you re-read the thread and take some of the valuable advice & assistance offered to you if you want fair closure to the issue. It's not that complicated.

I know many of you do not speak Spanish but this person many years ago was opying sites and content from other webmasters and also have had problems with other recognized affiliate network, and judging for the answers on those forums he keeps doing it.

If you can take the time to translate this you will find more about the kind of person he is:

    www(dot)rentabilizar-web(dot)com/foro/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=806
    www(dot)soywebmaster(dot)com/showthread.php?t=1443

One thing is how the affiliate program resolve this issue privately but how the community protect itself from people like this? It is all the time the same circle, noise through a forum, maybe or maybe not resolved privately and then... What? How dowe stop people like this?

Who knows this person maybe is copying your English sites into Spanish and, as you dont know the language there is litle risk on finding out.

I'm sure there are many affiliate programs that have had the same issue with this individual and have not been reported.

    Be careful with this guy!
