Business as Usual

Last Friday Full Tilt Poker, Poker Stars and Absolute Poker were regretfully shut in indictments filed in the US. We would like to inform you BetOnline is open for business as usual and not part of any of these indictments. We continue to offer sports betting and casino action to players around the world.

If you would like to discuss specific marketing ideas with the affiliate team, BetOnline Affiliates will be happy to hear them.

Use Self-updating Banners

In last week’s newsletter we mentioned that for best conversions affiliates should use the new banner section within BetOnline Affiliates called ‘Self-updating Banners’. These can be located by doing the following search within the banner section of BetOnline Affiliates:

Select BetOnline as the merchant
Select Banner as the creative type
Select English as the language
Select ‘Self-updating Banners’

Once you use the ‘Self-updating Banners’ our newest banners on sporting events and promos will be automatically updated for you. This fast and easy method will obviously save you lots of time. You will always be pushing the latest sporting events and promotions with the additional bonus. As for some events we will create specific landing pages for them and as long as you keep the code in tact, you can send your website traffic to these specific landing pages.

Ready for the Triple Crown?

The 2011 Triple Crown kicks off with the Kentucky Derby in just a few weeks. Now is an ideal time to get your websites ready for this major horse racing event. Here are some important Triple Crown dates for your marketing calendar:

May 7th: Kentucky Derby, first leg of the Triple Crown
May 21st: Preakness Stakes, second leg of the Triple Crown
June 11th: Belmont Stakes, third leg of the Triple Crown

Please contact us with your suggestions so we can improve the affiliate program and make your experience a better one.
