affiliate program announcements

Do you think it will be a good idea to force affiliate programs to post their news/announcements/special offers etc in a single dedicated thread?

Some affiliate programs start new topics every week and judging by view counts interest is very limited. On the other hand useful/interesting topics with questions/problems go down in the order and it's quite difficult to locate them.

I think, it will be great. I am newbie here and it`s hard for me to find all of announcements and to filter it. Information is very scattered. This will be helpful for me as for them.

Thank you, but it still will be rather inconvenient. One thread will be great, but I think this is an utopia.

As a sponsor program I would prefer to have a thread within my own forum for these. If all programs posted in one thread, you'd never read it all. I can promise that is a fact.

If we were to do it in our own forums (i.e. have one thread for all updates) you could simply subscribe to the thread and be alerted via email when it is updated. Don't you think that would be a better idea?

I agree with Renee - it's suprising how many affiliate programmes don't inform affiliates of player offers that are upcoming (I don't mean you Renee).

I wish they'd all provide XML feeds - would be so much easier

I actually meant to group announcements within one thread in aff program own forums.

Usually this is:
Aff program 'X' Forum
- thread 1 announcement 1
- thread 2 announcement 2
- thread 3 announcement 3
etc

I suggest:
Aff program 'X' Forum
- thread 1; post 1 - announcement 1; post 2 - announcement 2; etc
