After providing content for dozens of affiliates, I am considering FINALLY setting up my own site....
Focus would be on casino sites, with a strong slots presence.
What brands would you suggest? Which would you avoid? Please share any information!
Thanks
I think you might want to change the name of this thread to 'Which Affiliate Program do you recommend'? Guessing most affiliates/affiliate programs wont respond to this thread thinking you are looking to fish for affiliates! lol
I'm bias because I represent a casino myself, but generally I would look at the market you are targeting and give an even mixture of recognized brands and new brands. If you only go for the big guns (unless you were there first) chances are a lot of the traffic will already be tagged by another affiliate who came first, but if you only put forward brands no one has heard of, you might find it hard to get player's trust. I would start with four or five casino brands and concentrate on the games themselves - makes it easier to test which of the casinos convert better and you can always add/remove as you keep testing!
I found that alot of our affiliate use our free games to embed on their site, as they are always a great way to get players interested and keep them on your site before swiftly moving them to real money players!
I will leave it to GPWA affiliates to denounce / recommend affiliate programs! But feel free to check out my program in my signature if you fancy it :) (sorry had to be little sales pitch there)
Good luck!
Smooth Marit...smooth.
Thank-you kind sir: \\:D/Quote:

Network with other affiliates to find out which programs give them a good value for their traffic. You can also view other bigger portals and look at which programs they work with more.
Do market research: Which programs do the exisiting sites market? Chances are that these are the best.
Great to hear you're starting a site!
Which countries will the site target? That'll help a lot when recommending operators!
Cheers!
