AGD forums down?
Trying to view the forums at Guard Dog this morning and ran into this error message:
Fatal error: Xcache not installed in [path]/includes/class_datastore.php on line 506
Anyone know what's going on?

Yeah, I found the same error

Sorry guys
Major damn issues. Was working on speeding up the forums by recompiling php according to a vBulletin expert and it hosed the whole thing. The server team, since the recompile, has not responded at all
Not a happy camper.

I noticed that earlier this morning but thought it was you doing some scheduled upgrades.... sorry you're having such a hard time. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Remove cookies if you can't log in.
I tried to log in a few times and my password did not work. I reset it about three or four times and finally found that I had to remove my cookies before logging in.
So, if you are having an issue logging in to AGD then try to remove your cookies.
I'm back in and it seems to be working fine, but a slow.
I am sure they will have it back up to 100% soon. Sounds like Murphy's law at it's finest.

Good to hear!
Of course you know as soon as AGD is up, we are all going to rush it at once and crash it again.

I guess the problems are still ongoing - I just tried to view the forums with no success.
Any update on when we'll be able to get back in?

We are hoping Monday sometime the site will return. The forums are causing headaches and a new server team is looking hard at the issues along with some help from Webczas.
There will be more news tomorrow, but no guarantees. We want this working 100%, so are taking a lot of time to look into the details. AGD has been slow for about 2 months now and the current downtime relates to the 'original' server team trying to find the problem.
That team gave up and now the site is on another server. It will get resolved, but may take time. The issue isn't a simple one.

The forums on Guard Dog are now back up and running and people should be able to navigate through the forums with no problems.
There may well be a few functionality issues that need correcting and resolving. There is a dedicated thread in the AGD Forums for listing any bugs or problems, should any be encountered.
I'm continually monitoring the performance of the server as there is still a delay in posting replies. The reply actually gets posted straight away, but the person posting the messaage sticks in the reply screen for many seconds.
