Hello,

I was hoping to know if the affiliate terms of our poker room will be considered affiliate friendly. Please recommend any changes to the program if it will not be affiliate friendly. Thanks.

Affiliate program

Our affiliate program is a great way for anyone wanting to make a recurring monthly income for their one-time effort. We compensate our affiliates and area managers with a 50% revenue sharing model for players they bring to our poker network. There is no signup process or any document submission for affiliates. All you need to become an affiliate is to write to us at xxx. All your players have to do is enter your username in the "referred by" field during signup and our system will automatically link them under you and start tracking your earnings. All affiliate payments are made weekly directly into your xxx account and can be cashed out anytime. Minimum cash out limit is 1,000 (20 USD) which is the same as our poker room cash-out minimum.


How it works :
A player learns about xxx Poker through you by word of mouth or by a banner/link you had posted online.
You ask him to enter your username in the "referred by" field during signup or he clicks through one of your affiliate links - in this case, your information is automatically captured by the signup form.
You get a share of the revenue based on the revenue share % and payments are made weekly into your xxx Poker account. However, the revenue tracking is updated every 15 minutes.

You mention a lifetime cookie. Is this cookie over-writeable or does the first person to send the visitor get the signup no matter how hard hundreds of affiliates might work to actually make the sale?

This cookie is not over-writable as of now. I would be more interested in hearing about more affiliate friendly terms.

Well I hope you are able to come up with a good set of terms, but I would never promote a group that used a lifetime cookie that was not over-writeable.

Makes it a deal breaker for me.

No -- the cookie can still be a lifetime cookie, but it should be overwritable. The last referring affiliate should get credit for the signup, since he is the one who closed the deal.
