If it's of any use to anyone.....,

a couple of weeks ago I created a public Google Map HERE with the location of the RAI centre marked (the big red blob in the middle) as well as tags for surrounding hotels with links to their sites.

OK, i've just added some extra detail to the map points.

If you click the pointers for the hotels you'll see the pickup times for the shuttle buses and if you click the pointer for the RAI centre there are some links to access/site maps of the RAI and a metro map as well.

I think the access for this map is public so if anyone wants to add points of interest or further details like recommended bars, restaurants and the locations of the sponsored parties and events then please feel free to do so.

cheers Alex - and it'll be even better if you can mention I'm from bet365 affiliates, that we offer deals from 30% upwards and that we have a great range of products - not just Sports Book.......

    Ok, Ok - I won't push it

On a serious note, though I think it may turn out to be a good starting point for people when checking their accomodation location, distance to RAI, sponsored parties etc

Come on, we both know the red spots on the map are actually 'red light district' places...

    Alex,

I'm quite confused as to why you would identify the AiG conference a couple weeks ago as something that was massively disappointing. Certainly it could have been larger, and would have been if the economy was better, but there were still something like a couple hundred folks there and over twenty exhibitors anyway. I was there, and personally, I had many worthwhile conversations at that conference.

Okura was made the first official hotel as it was definitely the nicest but unfortunately further away but its not miles and that walk shoud sort you out!

Reason being is that I am looking to set up some stuff in Asia and invested a lot to get there, tickets, expo stand, etc - Just shipping the mags was £1k!! And I met one guy operating in Asia - The entire event was full of European operators and suppliers - Of course this was nice but it wasn't what I aimed to do out there, and speaking to a number of operators and suppliers they felt the same -
This is kind of what I was trying to say, everyone interprets and rexperiences events in different ways - I have had one stand tell me they have had their best show ever and the enxt door stand tell me its dead - I have spoken to people in Cancun this week who are loving it and obviously others that aren't so happy.

I think the reason was because Asian operators aren't looking to promote in a industry magazine, even one as good as yours. I actually met more Asian operators/suppliers than Europeans trying to crack the Asian market!

ah... I know the reason... you spent 2/3rds of the conference at the bar, where the Europeans hang out... the Asians go elsewhere to do business!

Needless to say, if you want to meet Asian operators/suppliers, you know who to hang out with! Come to think of it, how many times have I said in my presentations that you MUST find a local partner?

    Hi All.

More updates below from latest email that went out

The ASOP is coming to Amsterdam!
If you aren't aware of the ASOP (Affiliate Series of Poker) it is a poker tournament we run at all our events where affiliates fight it out for the ultimate prize in poker, the ASOP gold and diamond bracelet and thousands in cash. In Amsterdam it will be a little different due to the gaming laws in Holland which are very strict so unfortunately we can not award any money prizes and the bracelet will be on loan for 12 months.
Apart from that, the ASOP will be exactly the same, and just as competitive so if you think you have the nuts make sure you are registered on www.asop.com to ensure you receive the free roll passwords.

    Welcome Cake Poker
In connection with the above announcement I wanted to welcome Cake Poker on board as our straight flush sponsor for the ASOP which means half the free rolls will now be played on Cake. Cake join Affiliate Club (Royal Flush sponsor) and massive thanks to them both because we couldn't do the ASOP without their support.

    Who is iGamingBusiness?
Following the announcement regarding the name change many people are asking who is iGaming Business?
As you can see from the "about us section" on the website we have been around in the sector for a long time always focusing on providing intelligence information to the business side of gaming, whether this be through magazines, events or reports.
The company itself is not linked or owned by any affiliate forums, operators or software companies, in fact we are owned by a PLC called Electric Word (who specialises in publishing within niche markets ranging from education to iGaming) and Michael Caselli the editor of iGaming Business and Chair Person at our events.
We have been around for 8 years and are committed to producing quality products for our market that insight and educate the community.

Network with other attendees on Facebook
Its official we are on Facebook, and in less than 24 hrs we have over 200 members in our group. To view or join the group please click here. We are also attaching our events to the group which means prior to any event you will be able to view who is attending and therefore arrange meetings with them or simply network prior to the event itself - The AAC event is located here

    The New Conference Streams
As well as the forex conference stream where we cover everything you ever needed to know about this important sector, we have just teamed up with Canaffco who will be delivering their Affiliate Pro Bootcamp on the second day of the conference which promises to deliver some excellent content for newbies and super affiliates alike. This is all on top of the main conference stream so there is even more reasons to attend AAC.
Keep an eye on the schedule for the speakers and sessions being announced in these streams.

    Register now or PAY
If you haven't registered yet, do it now - Why? Firstly because it makes our lives a hell of a lot easier when organising badges, secondly you will receive breaking news on the event before anyone else, and thirdly if you try to register on the day you will have to pay, which is not what anyone wants, so stop wasting time and please register now.

Hi Guys - Here is the latest update on AAC - Also missed off Two Linx who also signed up for a stand this week so that means we are on 54

    Hi All,

Hope all is well and you had a good week - Please enjoy the latest updates and news on the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference below and don't forget to register.

Q&A with keynote speaker, David Irvine
With only 4 weeks to go until the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference kicks off, the AAC team caught up with keynote speaker, David Irvine, former MIT Blackjack team member. He gave us an exclusive insight into his Blackjack playing days by answering some of our more tricky questions. Click here to see what he had to say and don’t forget to come and listen to his keynote presentation to be held 12.30 - 13.15 on Saturday 2nd May.

SEO Surgery: Who wants FREE tips and advice?
As a result of the hugely successful surgery format unveiled at our event in London, we will be hosting another live SEO workshop featuring pre-submitted sites. So, if you would like your site analysed by some of the top SEO experts and to receive some “money can’t buy” tips and advice that would normally cost a fortune - submit your site now for the surgery taking place between 13.45 and 14.45 on Saturday 2nd May.

    Welcome New Exhibitors and Partners
We have had another busy week in the sales department and would like to welcome on board 2 more exhibitors Mansion Affiliates, and Commission Junction which puts us up to 53 exhibitors in total, 2 more than we had in London. With more still signing up imminently we expect this to be our biggest event to date!

    Another Reason to Attend AAC
I know you don't need another reason to attend this event on top of the huge expo, great networking and unbelievable content, but just in case......BET US Partners are bringing the calendar girls again in addition to some awesome give-aways which I cant tel you about just yet. If you would like to meet Miss May or Miss November make sure you visit the Bet US Partner's stand.

Pictures of the Affiliates Beer Event
As you may have seen earlier this week we decided to kick things off in Amsterdam a month early. With our co sponsors PAL, CAL, and US-BlackJack we ran a free bar for all affiliates and operators during the evenings of the CAC event, which went down really well; in fact we event had some celeb rappers turn up. If you would like to see the photos they are on FaceBook here.

    Skip the Queues at Registration
We had 1600 delegates in London and we expect nothing less in Amsterdam so the AAC team are giving you the opportunity to pick up your pass and wristband at the Hotel Okura, one day before the exhibition opens. Simply pick up your badge and wristband in the main lobby of the hotel from 12pm onwards on Thursday 30th April.
Take the chance to make the most of your first exhibition day and skip the morning queues. If you do intend to take advantage of pre-registration please email Marit with your arrival times so we can have all your details ready to make your registration experience as smooth as possible.

    Forex sessions announced
This year's event welcomes a dedicated forex conference stream and exhibition area. Take advantage and learn from the key players in the industry, and meet with exhibitors such as eToro and FOREXYARD to discover how you can expand your horizons.

We are delighted to announce the following forex conference sessions:

    - Forex 101 – Understanding the market and players
As with all industries, the first step to becoming a successful Forex affiliate is understanding the product itself and the players you are promoting to. FOREXYARD invites you to learn about the currency and commodity trading markets, from the basics concepts to market volatility and player psychology.

    - Forex Affiliate Revelation
This session is aimed at affiliates who may have considered entering the world of online forex marketing, but have been put off by the affiliate commission structure. This session aims to clarify how online forex trading platforms make money and in turn, reward their affiliates and marketing partners.

    - Promoting Forex and Gaming: The differences and similarities
This session looks above and beyond, outlining the key strategies for promoting forex and the characteristics of the forex audience. It will also consider other key factors for affiliates such as user lifetime value, conversion metrics, countries and languages and legality aspects.

For full details of these sessions such as the running times and speaker information, please click here.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

This is both exciting and terrifying. LOL

The SEO sessions have always been my favorite subjects and filled with new information each time I attend.

Gamtrak - They usually pre select some of them not all as normally there are shed loads of submissions - What they try do to is have a mix of different sites, i.e. community ones, operators, review type sites, etc - Definitely worth putting the site in as you really do get some incredible tips

Elgoog - Am going to update the site ASAP but don't worry registration is open and besides that you are already on the ASOP database - Will get the first email out tomorrow as first event is Tuesday!!!
