Quick heads up - The official hotel (Okura) now only has Deluxe rooms which are pretty expensive and the Holiday Inn is now sold out which leaves just two hotels so if you haven't booked your rooms yet BOOK them ASAP otherwise you will end up paying a fortune since this is one of the busiest times in Amsterdam http://www.amsterdamaffiliateconfere...es-and-hotels/

Good to see you still have an amazing sense of sarcasm!

Okura is nice - I think Rebecca ate there twice during CAC and as you know she has some expensive tastes!

If anyone would like to schedule a chat or meeting, please mail me. I think however I'll skip any gym meetings at this point

    Default Latest Update

Hi All - Latest update on teh event below

    Evening schedule hots up
We all know you come to AAC to network, conduct business meetings and attend the conference sessions for news on the latest industry developments…so you probably won’t want to know about the parties. But just in case you do, we’ve put together our usual schedule of exclusive parties starting with the Queen’s Day celebrations on Thursday 30th April. In true iGaming style, the biggest Dutch bank holiday marks the launch of AAC and will take place at Players Bar (just off Dam Square) between 4pm-8pm in conjunction with a4uexpo Europe and LondonSEO.org. Come and join us for a couple of free beers and let’s get the party started!

AAC also welcomes the introduction of a “Hub Pub”, a central meeting point and networking pub session running from 7pm – 10.30pm each evening of the event, again at Players Bar in central Amsterdam - And of course drink will flow freely until we hit the enormous bar tab we have organised!

We’ve also received some insider information regarding Friday’s party. It’s going to be held at The Mansion, a collection of three chic cocktail bars, located in one of Amsterdam’s magnificent national monuments which was previously owned by the Dutch royal family. Keep your eyes peeled for more details coming soon!

    Record number of Sponsors
I am incredibly happy to officially announce that as of this week AAC has over 60 exhibitors and sponsors which makes it our biggest event to date and has even taken me by surprise! Exhibitors and sponsors that signed up over the last week include Europartners, NedPlay, TwoLinx, BuzzLuck, Microgaming and Forex Yard – See the full release here

    Marketing Agreement with GGE
I am please to announce that we have formed a marketing partnership with Wolf from Global Gaming Events who will be helping us to get the word out on iGB events including AAC to his database of affiliates and operators.

If you have no idea who Wolf is or what he does click here because it really is a unique offering and a genuine benefit for both affiliates and operators with regards to converting your poker players.

    London Conference Videos are live
If you were far too busy having meetings, didn’t attend London, or simply failed to pay attention in the conference room then fear not the videos from the conference sessions are now live and available online – Simply click here to view them.

I strongly advice you watch these as the information contained will genuinely help you in you business and importantly increase the money you are making.

    Don’t miss a4uexpo Europe
As you know the a4uexpo Europe precedes AAC and with 40 sessions, 500 delegates 3 parties and an expo it is an event you don’t want to miss. The best news though is that you can receive a 15% discount code once you have registered for AAC. This is a discount only available to AAC registered attendees, so take advantage of all the perks and join us for two fantastic events in the same venue, in the same week! Giving you full access to all sessions, event and parties,

Two AAC Hotels sold out so book now!

If you haven’t heard already all standard rooms at The Okura and all rooms at the Holiday Inn have sold out so if you haven’t booked your hotel rooms for the AAC I highly recommend you book them now. This one of the busiest weekends for Amsterdam so the availability is only going down and the prices up and once our allocations are full we can’t increase them.
    Book your hotel rooms here.

    Sunday ‘Tourism’ Session Announced
On Sunday may 3rd we will once again be organising the infamous Sunday Tourism and Beer Session:
Enjoy a leisurely two hour cycle, starting from the Hotel Okura at 11am, around the beautiful city of Amsterdam with an experienced guide, who will lead you through the city's finest places on a funny and interesting tour!

This is a free tourism activity for all Amsterdam Affiliate Conference attendees. However, spaces are limited so please email Kiera to reserve your space now!

The bike tour finishes at 1pm at Café Lust where we will be hosting the final networking get together. So, whether you been on the tour or fancy a final pint, come and relax on the terrace with a beer and your shades – the perfect way to end what we hope has been a busy and successful couple of days!

Finally please make sure you have registered for the event as we will be closing this off in a weeks time and if you haven't submitted your site for the SEO surgery there is still time so make sure you email Kiera as soon as possible.
Look forward to seeing you soon.

Default reasonably priced hotels near Okura??

Haa, Alex, I just noticed that you called me out for having expensive taste! Now, that is not entirely true...I just happened to get treated to dinners by those who have expensive taste. I did, however, dine at the Okura's Teppanyaki restaurant and Ciel Bleu during CAC- both fabulous. I wrote about them too, check it out: www.casinocityrebecca.com.

Anyway. Now for the purpose of this post. Does anyone know of available and reasonably priced hotels that are near (aka walking distance) the Okura? Golden Tulip is too expensive now

Also on the hunt for a Hotel,

How do you even get to that convention place from the central station?

The Kras.. was good since it was dead center.

Rebecca/Henrik - we have another hotel going up ithis afternoon that should be cheaper and a good alternative

I love the Kras too but it is just too small for our event - If you do want to stay near central station I believe a trains and trams run regulary and are v easy - I nicked this off their webiste http://www.rai.nl/Contactformulier.aspx

    By air

You can reach Amsterdam RAI from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol by car or public transport in less than 15 minutes. Schiphol Airport is one of Europe's biggest airports and offers passengers a high standard of service.
    By Tram & Bus

If you arrive at Amsterdam Central Station (CS), you can take the Amstelveen express tram 51 (travelling time: 12 minutes, exit at the Amsterdam RAI station) or tram 4 (travelling time: 30 minutes, exit at the RAI Europaplein). If you are travelling by train to the Amstel station, you can take the Amstelveen express tram 51 (travelling time: 5 minutes) or the bus (route 15, 69 or 169), which will bring you to the RAI within 10 minutes. In this case you should get off at RAI Europaplein. From Amsterdam Sloterdijk station, the best way to reach the RAI is with express tram 50.
    By Train

NS-station Amsterdam RAI is 300 meters from the RAI and has regular connections to all parts of the Netherlands, like Schiphol, Rotterdam, Utrecht, The Hague and is also linked to the international trainnetwork. Check the NS website for your itinerary. runs from the Amsterdam rai there and back and takes around 12 mins - they also have Trams at the Amsterdam Rai that run into town which takes 30 mins - You can see the details here

Chris I believe the Novotel is really close - Anthony from Bet365 created this which should help a bit - We will be creating an updated version of this with all the parties, hotels etc on it as a few things have changed but hotel location obviously hasn'tMAP

Shaun, that is so sweet! Does everyone see the love between the GPWA and our sponsors? We like to help each other out. I assume it's cool that Michael stays with us too? Great. Thanks. See you there! haa.

Seriously though, Novotel is very reasonably priced but I'm concerned that it might be in the middle of nowhere? Alex- thanks for getting back to us, I'll have a look at the alternative that is going up today. You are the best.
