Amsterdam Conference - what could happen...

I like to play a game before every conference. It's a way of preparing for it, I imagine things that we will be doing, that could happen, that might.. basically like a roadmap of the conference and things you will see.

Like without fail, at one of the parties, there is going to be a bunch of guys doing some outrageous weird dance with each other, and think that they are going to look awesome.

There are going to be people with blank looks on their faces - newbies - I make a point of saying hi to them.. everyone should do to. Nothing worse then feeling you are alone at your first conference. Doesn't matter if they are operator or affiliate...

The blank look could be also because someone chose the blue light instead of the red light. Or went to a cafe, order a coffee and cookie.. and just zoned out.

But what I am really... really.. really hoping to happen this conference(not to me).. is this.

Very good advice Rak. For me it was the first conference in London and at some points I felt very alone. But it is good that you are not the only one who thinks this way. I met several people in London.
I don't think I will feel alone in Amsterdam, I'm gonna meet you, Rak!

at conferences I rarely make it to my hotel room, only to crash out, and then shower and jet back out.

A similar thing actually happened a few years ago. I can't remember which city it was in but the offending affiliate manager locked himself out of his room naked and also urinated in a plant in the hotel lobby..
