    SPORTS BETTING IN US
    -----------------------------
I am still struggling with the dogmatic resistance to online sports betting in the US. (The Land of the Free)

I used to think that arguments were about "corruption of the game" - but there are already powerful business interests in the game.
And Sports Betting at a casino is OK - but online sports betting is wrong?
What is it about the remote function that makes it bad?

Take a look at good licensed locations with appropriate "Know Your Customer" legislation - which much of Europe enjoys.
Remote / online gaming done well - as a business and not some sort of shady money laundering operation.

The US usually does not have a problem with a good business model - so what is the problem here?

    POKERSTARS / 888
    -----------------------------

I am not surprised that they think casino is the REAL revenue generator.
While Poker is popular - the pot-rake revenue scheme is a markedly smaller share of the players pot.

    OBSERVATION
    ------------------------------

That looks like a football ground behind you - sideline and halfway line / circle !
That's REAL football - not that "hand-egg" game you guys call football.

Land of the Free?... you crack me up, my friend!!!

Always follow the money... because it's always about the money!

"Gotta protect the children!" = We can't profit from them...
"It's dangerous to addicts!" = Their losses should go to the state...
"It can't be regulated!" = We haven't figured out how to tax it...
"It's run by criminals!" = It's not run by us, yet...

Anytime one of your "football" boys wants to lace up their sweet lil' cleats and line up vs. a REAL football player from America I will pay to watch. I will also lay you 6-1 odds on who is left standing! LOL!

Usually. As I really do not like US culture, generally it is not different to other cultures.

Every culture has its taboos. They are completely irrational, sometimes in direct opposition to substance of the culture. It is simply psychoanalytical problem. They love market, but as collective sacrifice, they simply play ridiculous games with some goods (like NCAA players or alcohol). I think it is really funny, but I accept the need of taboo in society. In Europe is now taboo to tell that all people are sadly not equal for example.

Official USA link is and will be influenced by hardcore neoconservative christian doctrine and we can either accept it and sneak in like drug dealers or accept it and leave. Since I always wanted to be a drug dealer, but gambling seemed to be more profitable, I am in and I like my US affiliates (primary Bettingpartners and 5dimes more and more).
