Default Any experience of casino affiliate biz in African countries?

Hi to all the AMs and affiliates here!

Let's discuss actual state of African market here. If you have some experience, made some tests or aware of something regarding this market let's share it here. Main questions are:

    1) What countries may be considered as potentially interesting?
    2) Legislation issues
    3) Deposit and withdrawals abilities for players
    3) Results and your suggestions about them

I guess some if you could read recently published news from South Africa on The Pogg that doesn't bring much optimism. Do we guys have what do in Africa and does the game worth the candle.

Hi, I had done in a distant past some forex/binary for FR African countries. in my view, the biggest waste. Why? the selling team told us those countries do not have international credit cards, they cannot make international payments in most case, never mind casino/forex/binary, any goods. as for some countries, they only pay through their phone for small shopping being credited at small kiosks. they all wanted to deposit but had no way of sending the money. This is what I was told by the forex broker at the time. I am sure casinos will be a similar story.

    Renaldo,

Thanks for your reply. Could you please tell how long it's been since you had this info? As I know, growing internet penetration in some areas on Earth still bring miracles, so things may change in several years

Kenya is a big one due to its millennials high rate of acceptance especially for Online Sports betting but you won't get big spenders but many smaller low-end players, South Africa is still a good market even though the laws around Online Gaming are a bit grey eventually it will come into its own as a fully regulated gambling market and has around 30 Massive Land based casinos so it's inevitable but will take time affiliates are not policed and there are a few that still do well in this market , Nigeria Too but a note of caution on Africa just what-what you do where and with who , Rife with corruption and still way too many poor and unemployed across the content just be careful . South of the Equator if your going to try succeed there as in the Northern parts you dealing with more Religious issues related to extremists etc

Hi Alex, It was about 3 years ago. bear in mind I was talking about French-speaking Africa (including Maghreb). to my knowledge, apart from SAF, and maybe Kenya, I m not sure it's worth the shot, unless you can set up processing there, which must be a real pain to organize. this is only my opinion and experience...

I'm sure eventually most Governments will release it's far better to legalise online gaming (and tax it), than to outlaw it. Though currently I disagree that SA laws regarding online gaming are a "bit" grey.

    casinonewsdaily.com/2017/05/28/south-africa-tightens-crackdown-illegal-online-gambling/

South Africa has, in fact, tightened its policies against the provision of this type of services with the introduction of the National Gambling Policy 2016. Within the last few weeks, R1.5Mil won by South African players at online casinos have been seized.

South African officials have repeatedly voiced concerns that online gambling may be used to mask money laundering and other illicit transactions. To prevent this from happening, the National Gambling Board has been working closely with local banks, with the latter helping the regulator and law enforcement confiscate illegal online gambling winnings.
Not sure how viable a market like this is, when players are 'running the gauntlet'

True and exactly what I meant .. I South African players can play if they choose too take the risks its not being policed there are too many real issues in SA to warrant the government spending resources finding and prosecuting online gamblers .. I know this as ive lived in SA all my life they have an official line on online gaming and a stance and some big operations have closed there doors due to the concerns that they have that the government may crack down on them but as a player if you live in SA and carry your won risk you can play

I do not hate Africa or African nation, just be very careful out there things can get to dicey for you and you business venture.
Just always remember that its to hard trust someone if you have doubt.
