Anybody with funds tied up in Neteller

I received a payout just before the cutoff, and originally thought it was fortunate. After a week of waiting, neteller customer service said today that it could take 4-6 weeks to process the withdrawal because they are currently inundated with requests from US residents. They suggested getting one of their atm cards which 'might' speed things up.

They also said they are not currently accepting eft deposits from US residents.

It's my understanding that the only way to withdraw funds from NT is thru check or ATM card, and I'm inclined to believe they're inundated with requests now. It probably *would* be faster to get an ATM card, but then you'd never use it again anyway.

Hey peeps! Back from a bit of a hiatus I guess.

EFT withdrawals are still available, but these are what's tying up the system bc everyone - mainly 1,000's of players - are requesting them. I'll probably take my chances on the atm route, even if it's just for a 1-time use.

I did an EFT withdrawal on 1/19 and still being "pending".
Don't know if that helps you, but thought I'd share.

i called them and they said it can take 2 weeks for an eft and 6 to 8 weeks for a check. wow - that sucks!!!

Same thing here... My EFT is "pending" They have no reason to process them quickly - it is people who will not be using their service anymore.
I dont understand why electronic funds transfers are taking so long... I could understand if they need to cut and mail checks, but not for electronic exchanges.

My Neteller EFT is pending as well since 1/17.

About that Neteller ATM card. I clicked on the link that said "click here to apply" and that was it. Once you click the link, your application is automatically submitted. I actually wanted to just see what kind of questions they asked on the application. I really didn't intend to submit the application at that time, but there is no application. Once you click the link, your application is submitted. There is a charge for dormant accounts so if you get an account and don't use it for 30 days, there is a $5 charge. I just plan to close it out once I get it and get the rest of my money out anyway. I don't think I will have a need for it after that. It said to allow up to 3 weeks to receive it. There is no processing fee for US citizens, and that beats 6-8 weeks for checks.

I don't know if this may help anyone but I have about $700.00 in my paypal account which I could transfer to someones paypal account if you are able to do a member to member transfer to my Neteller account.

TopBoss' method worked for me after everything shut down.

I did NT to PP exchanges with someone at CAP and, although it posted as 'denied' the exchange went through after he accepted. We did two exchanges and my NT is cleaned.

When I saw the 'denied' on my NT account, I called NT and they said member to member exchanges are OK.

I can't speak for today but it should still be working.

What's bothering me is, if I transfer everything to UK servers and get an offshore mailing address, I don't think I can use my NT account for payments or even open a new account with them. Anyone have anything to offer on this note? I'm not moving anything until I get the money sorted...

I called Neteller and requested that they deny the EFT then I used the ATM.

No problems that way.

I was told that EFT would take up to 2 weeks because they are flooded
with requests right now. Also, I was told that a check will take 6-8 weeks
because they are no longer using express mail to send out any checks.

I requested a check.. and then after I talked to them, I switched it
over to an EFT.. which is pending right now. I'm moving overseas
by the end of February, so I do hope it gets here fairly soon.

I tried to make a withdrawal to my debit card today and it was declined. I called Neteller and they told me that the debit card is no longer an option. If anyone is able to do Neteller to Paypal, please PM me.

Called Neteller, no EFT, no checks, no ATM being processed for any US player and i couldn;t get an answer on when it would be resolved. .I'd like to transfer my Neteller funds via member to member in exchange for PayPal (if this is still an option?), please PM me if interested

I made an EFT withdrawal on the 15th and after a couple days longer than it usually takes to hit my bank I called to see what was up. 1st they hung up on me so I called back and pressed "2" as if it were a "security issue". I was told that there was a delay in processing EFTs and they could take up to 2 weeks. Today is 14 days later and still no dough.

I called back just now, and after pressing "2" again, and then holding for 15 minutes, I got someone: "Hello.. uh, I mean thank you for calling Neteller, how can I help you?"

She told me that there have been recent updates to that delay, that my money is safely held in a trust fund, that I will eventually get my money, but they are not able to tell me how long it will be.

The Neteller website says this:

In other words, it may be a long wait. I think at the very least, Neteller owes us a little honesty. WHY aren't they processing EFT's? How long do they think it will take? What kind of security problems are there? Have US authorities requested the freeze? Can't blame this on recent events - the arrests were not in NT directly and UIGEA only prevents cash flow TO offshore gambling (not necessarily from or to US bank accounts)

I asked Neteller (useless punks) in an online chat for information about the trust funds and got:

and then he terminated the chat. Very nice.

I guess the real issue is that we do not know for sure what the DoJ has done or is doing to Neteller. (Minding their own business would be a great start and maybe catching terror suspects might be another).
