Post Anyone Else getting slammed by China visits

    Hi

Just wondering if anyone else is being bombed by visits from China? I am not sure if its a good thing or not. I am not seeing any conversions from China?

Nope - China less than 1% of our visits this week (less than 2,000).

Mind you - I kicked the Baidu bot off a month ago - and have banned a few Chinese bot IP addresses as well this month. Otherwise the Chinese IP address range might have counted for more (but they wouldn't have been human traffic).

Would you mind sharing how to kick the bot off? I am wondering if its bot visits rather than real people from china

I have used cloud-flare to block the entire country. After doing a little digging ALL the traffic from this country is spambots. For any newbie out there, you can block countries with the help of cloudflare if you use it. Details found here: https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudfla...-your-website/

I get a lot of traffic from China, but I don't mind because I have a page for Chinese traffic.

Think I'm pretty lucky, get very few hack attempts, always try to keep the site up to date in regards to WP updates. Also my traffic is mainly UK, so any attacks stick out like a sore thumb.
Currently dipping my toe back in the water with my pet project site, Vegan Chocolate.
