Default Anyone going to EGR and staying in London?

    Hello

You might want to check this out then.

Lastminute do a Thursday sale, which means you can get the 2 nights over the EGr conference at Old Billingsgate for just £218 all in. The same hotel will cost you over £500 normally!

Have a look - the first result is the Top Secret hotel, and the second result is The Grange, St Pauls, which is a 5 star hotel not far from the venue (a shortish cab ride). They are the same hotel!

Its also the venue for the LAC in Jan.

I thought it was good value. I know you can get cheaper hotels in West Kensington and Docklands, but when you factor in the taxi rides to get there and back at least twice a day (once to get to Old Billingsgate, and then back to the hotel and then out in the evening and back again), this works out much cheaper I think, so I thought I would share it with you

To be honest their doesnt seem to be that much guff on these boards about it - suprising when you see that GPWA is a sponsor.

    Hi Neil,

When you come to think about.................your absolutly right M8 that nothing is really being said about this conference. Everyone is focusing on London 2010.

If I had the time and budget to jump across to the UK for a few days I would.

I would also like to point out to any one from around the UK needs a cheap room for a couple of nights or any one from outside of the Uk to check this site out.

Have a wonderful weekend to all

I am planning my trip now and have actually had people in London tell me they knew nothing of the event while booking my meetings.

Anyways its free to attend flights are still cheap these days so if thinking about going there is not a tone of cash at stake and if you go with a plan you might get more done here than at other events.
