Default AP Trying to Hide Revenue?

I just received a "Player" report from AP, which contained only the player name, first and last name and date signed up, nothing more... when I copied the program to an Open Office file I accidentally (and surprisingly) opened up the rest of the spreadsheet containing all of the revenue data which had columns and columns of info, which was hidden and locked from my view.

When I wrote and asked about this, it was just sent higher and higher up the chain of command, and I've yet to hear an anwer back about this.

Has anyone else received a "Player" report from either AP or UB? You might be surprised at what they're hiding from you!

I have not received a player list but I am not an active chipleader aff. as a matter of fact, they are both #1 on my blacklist so I doubt they would give me the time of day and I really don't care.

I will say that I know for a fact one of my old players has been playing there yet he does not show in my stats.

They can keep it, I am sure they sleep well at night.

You know I've often wondered about them. Unfortunatly I promote both Chipleader brands pretty heavily because I do like the sites (UB and AP). Chipleader seems to be one of the more sneaky affilate promgrams out there. Their fee's go up and up, and in my case, chargebacks continue to rise (per the report) but I never seem to get any of that back! It has gotten worse lately. I can't believe they are not recouping any of the chargebacks they hit me with.

With all that said, I'm giving serious thought to making them lower on my flagpole and not promoting them as much.

Is there anyway you could share the report you have?

Default Touching Base - Chipleader Player report

    Hi Everyone,

    I hope all is well!

There is absolutely NO revenue hidden on the player report or anywhere else. The player report in Chipleader is a report that provides affiliates with all players that are associated to them regardless of a player making a deposit or having any other action, simply players that have registered successfully under them. The other reports in Chipleader like the "customer report" only show players that have made a deposit during a given month. Shaz, I would appreciate it if you could send the player report that was sent to you. I can assure you nothing is hidden, and any revenue, rake, commission, etc that you need in Chipleader is clear as day. I look forward to hearing back from you.

    Kind Regards,
    Dani

    Default Commission Death by Chargebacks

I have been continuously getting hit harder and harder by the Chipleader affiliate program. At this point, I have nothing but contempt for them. You are right, the fees just keep on growing, eating up my commission, but this past month I was absolutely shocked to see the chargebacks they levied against me.

In my 5 years in the seo/sem affiliate game I have never seen anything like this before:

In November, I was expecting to see about $3,000 in commission. By the end of the month, after Chipleader had tallied up their books, the chargebacks and returns were so huge that it not only wiped out ALL of my commissions for the month, but it actually put me in the negative across all sectors (Casino, poker, pop-up blackjack, and tournament blackjack). Now it might take a few months to bring my account back in the money.

This will be the first time in the 4 years I have been promoting this brand that I will receieve exactly ZERO for all my hard work. Up til now, I have earned and been paid every month, however those payments have been getting smaller and smaller (down 50% from last year, despite constantly signing up new players).

I have been fed up with Chipleader for quite a while. I just don't trust them. Not in the least. Personally, I think they need to be investigated for malfeasance.

The industry and the economy have drastically changed. The fees are certainly a nuisance, but in fairness, this has become an industry norm, and there are programs out there with much worse fee structures. We certainly can thank the US government of the past (and present) for helping to create these fee structures, with their idiotic laws. Remember, the days of the straight NETeller pass throughs.....ah, the memories......

Increased chargebacks appear to be a function of the new world and the current economy. I have seen an increase in these fees across all vendors. I think players are defaulting on their credit, and "gaming" the system to a maximum, by moving from room-to-room, and defaulting in the past one in the process. As far as recoup, what are they supposed to do ? Let's come up with solutions here. All I can suggest, is that you prohibit a player from continuing to play in a room, until he/she honors any past chargeback debt. If you see a player playing in a room, who has past chargebacks, I would immediately alert the room to that effect. That is one way that we can police the system. The Chipleader team has always been very responsive to this with me, and this is one of many reasons I like working with them.

Chipleader has also enhanced their reporting to the point where they have the BEST statistical reporting system in the industry, IMO. Granted, it took them a while to achieve this, but rarely, if ever, do I have to inquire about things any more - the stats allow me to slice and dice data very well.

In regard to trusting them with the full accuracy of their data, well, there has to be a bit of AOF (Act of Faith) here. Yes, it is their word against ours, but let's face it, the whole industry is predicated on that premise. Some of you are still clinging to the 2006 mentality, when everyone was making a boatload of money, and there was no govt watchdog out there. I think everyone has to re-adjust their level of thinking here in 2011.

Am I happy the way the industry is currently ? No, I am not. But, some of you young guys out there have to realize that nothing lasts forever. You have to re-adjust your expectations, and diversify into other industries.

Good luck to all in 2011 !

    I have to disagree.

Chipleader does NOT have the best reporting.

I too think that they have been getting more and more fee crazy for a very long time.....

They also have a habit of allowing questions to go unanswered for weeks and often months in hopes that it will just go away rather than actually dealing with it.
