Default AskGamblers Catena Media and Promotion of Rogue Casinos

You would have thought that a company well capitalised such as Catena Media could and would use their visibility and position in google for the greater good. But alas, it seems that Catena are another super affiliate company that likes to keep everyone at arms length. Not responding to concerns over who they promote via email, just sending out a couple of glib talk to hand type tweets.

Everyone for instance knows that for rogue casino groups to fail you need to shut off their money stream. For example it is all well and good the vast majority of us blacklisting AffPower for instance, but what good does it do when the likes of AskGamblers let them use their 'Certificate of Trust' seal on their sites. The site in question is CashPot Casino, which prior to the name change in 2016, was known as Cosmik Casino.

The same Cosmik Casino which was using pirated games from NetEnt and others. Yet it seems Catena Media and their portals such as AskGamblers operate on the principle of selling space to the highest bidder, regardless of who or what they subsequently promote. A nice home page backlink courtesy of the seal on the footer of the rogue casino, also seems to be part of the deal.

It has often been said that getting affiliates to collectively work together for the greater good is as hard as dealing with feral cats.

I'm a player as I am sure many of you are as well. i just can't understand how AskGamblers can make out it is this super trustworthy portal.

They also were applying to become an approved UKGC ADR. Well if this is still the case, I will be making representations to the UKGC to ensure this does not happen.

I have blogged about this here: https://www.onlinecasinoreviewer.com...nline-casinos/

Thank you so much for your report.
This is ironclad proof, that AskGamblers is nothing else than a bunch of two-faced and quasi accomplice of serious criminals.

There was a time, when a guy from AskGamblers trampled here into the forum, attacked me because I debunked him, and he was so happy, that uncomfortable posts were "moderated".

By the way, it is a proven fact, that the situation of AffPower, what they did and do, this was and is known to AskGamblers since years!

With one link, the myth, AskGamblers are good guys, is busted:

    ===> askgamblers.com/casino-affiliate-programs/affpower-review/

    Any questions?

Do a search on YouTube for AskGamblers. The first video I came across which had over 1000 views, had comments alleging that the team at Ask Gamblers delete unfavourable comments.

They are nothing more than a shill.

Leopold, they were okish when Igor owned them. But since he sold AskGamblers to the venture capitalists, they don't care about players. All they care about is recouping their €15m outlay.

Thats what I thought, thanks Webzcas it is only recently that I have started to take notice of the state of affairs in our industry.
Your videos and posts have certainly opened my eyes to the shisters around and will definitely help stop me being conned in the long run.

Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next entertaining one.

So, I wrote now also a review, and Fernanda without any doubts has already started to call, write and cry at AskGamblers. Since this week we know as a fact, that she is reading here on GPWA 24/7.

Here are the rewiews from today. In the last hour one other brave guy posted there. I added my own review, that was posted by accident twice because I am obviously too old for working with such rating portals. But I asked Live Chat to remove one of the double reviews of mine. After I did, I recognized, with this action AskGamblers will be informed directly and quick about the reviews, and we will see if and what probably will be censored.

Here are screenshots of both reviews, from "Truthteller" and from me, in chronological order:

    Source: askgamblers.com/casino-affiliate-programs/affpower-review/

    To Live Chat:

    Hi,

by accident I submitted my review twice, because there was something with my browser reload.
Please remove one of the two identical reviews here please:

    askgamblers.com/casino-affiliate-programs/affpower-review/

Thank you very much for your support.

    +++ ADDENDUM +++

Received message from AskGamblers some minutes ago. My AffPower review, that I posted twice by accident like I mentioned in prior post has been reviewed by AskGamblers staff but it is not censored [yet]. They only removed the dublicate, following my polite request!

Now it's time to give that review site linkpower: AffPower casino affiliate program ratings and reviews

    +++ BREAKING NEWS +++

First fallout due to "Operation Cream Slice", started here today on GPWA with this thread!
    Nothing but the truth!

STATUS UPDATE: Ask Gamblers put a yellow alert box in the head of AffPower's review website!

    I quote:

"Under Investigation: AffPower and the casino brands operated under their affiliate program are currently under investigation by the AskGamblers team. The investigation has been initiated after suspicion of a series of unlawful operations, including but not limited to illegal and fraudulent behaviour, unethical marketing, unjustified confiscation of legitimate winnings. AskGamblers will announce the findings of the investigation shortly where the outcome would be either clear the affiliate program and its operators of the aforementioned allegations or adding them into our blacklist with immediate effect."

    Source: https://www.askgamblers.com/casino-a...fpower-review/

Will the resistance against criminal operators in this industry prevail again or will we see an accomplice, a cover-up?

You do understand that making your test public at this stage kinda ruined the test itself...

I may be old, but I still know, what I am doing in such cases.
For your information: This is no test.
It's a running operation, and the only goal is, that the AffPower Crime Family vanishes from the internet and especially Fernanda, this mental ill psycho, who is by the way using quasi paramilitary tactics to silence investigators and critics. It is a proven fact, confirmed by real sources, that AffPower used also blackmail, telephone terror and violence threats to intimidate competitors.

Im am fighting against the Affpower Crime Family, that brought so much harm over the industry, now since exactly 1374 days.

And I am doing this in general since decades also e.g. with Multi Level Marketing scams, animal abuser, marriage impostors, alleged psychics and other phonebook blower frauds, with politician and the media. and I now exactly, what I am doing.
    Believe me.
Ask the people e.g. from Club Gold or Buffalo Partners.
If as a result of this operation the raised question of the thread starter, whether AskGamblers is a trustworthy portal or not, can also be answered, then it's wonderful.
But as everyone knows, my goal is, AffPower shall have no place to hide anymore, and I want to see AskGamblers excuses not to blacklist proven criminals.

I don't believe, AskGamblers will risk their reputation forever with protecting serious criminals.
    This would be insane.
If they do, it's their choice.
Others and I will continue to fight against AffPower.

This operation was started by my own choice today after I have had a wonderful big portion of vanilla ice cream with rhubarb-strawberry compote to celebrate Celena's thousandth received thanks in my lucid diary. After that others stepped in as you can see on the review website.
I believe, I can speak for all: The major thanks goes to Webzcas, the thread starter.

The only goal ist, that AffPower vanishes and will banned from the industry's society like outlaws.
If they lost their protection shield in this industry by some remaining portals, then the way is free for law enforcement agencies. The list of their committed crimes is so long, that you need two people to hold the piece of paper where they are written on.

As I wrote in my review on AskGamblers, GPWA authorities can confirm, that e.g. the cases with pirated games and the accomplice of hacking are real, authentic and a proven fact.

    No, this is no test.
This is hopefully one of the final nails for the AffPower's coffin.
Or the irrevocable demise of AskGambler's reputation.
    Not my decision.

    Leopold

So it has taken, countless tweets, a video blog, posting here and on AGD, plus Leopold running his experiment above, for AskGamblers to finally put AffPower under review. A situation last May in 2016 that should have occurred when LCB uncovered AffPower casinos using pirated NetEnt Games.

Furthermore, one of the casinos which was found using said pirated games was Cosmik Casino. Due to the bad publicity they changed it's name to Cashpot Casino.

This was the casino I complained to Catena via their contact form, their info email address and subsequent tweets. They just knocked down their rating a touch and said the COT seal would be removed.

Then why is it, that the CashPot Casino page on AskGamblers does not have that yellow background under review warning then? Plus the casino is still showcasing that COT Seal on the footer of their website.

This is purely a damage limitation exercise by AskGamblers. I will continue to stress this until such time they do the right thing and stop feeding this rogue casino group with unaware players.

As far as I remember, people were paid to post casino reviews by Askgamblers in the past. Whether this is still the case now, under new management, I do not know though.
