as the Treasury Committee heard testimony about
a likely tax increase for the gambling industry.

However, there are real concerns that any additional
taxes could backfire, and cost thousands of jobs.

I had to watch the video on YouTube and noticed you only had 15 (now 16) subscribers. It is a shame considering the amount of effort you invest in making these videos and the headaches you help us avoid while trying to keep up with the news. Btw, it would have looked less brazen for the representative to say correlation doesn't equal causation than to just state that there is no correlation.

I had to watch the video on YouTube and noticed you only had 15 (now 16) subscribers.

There are some very good reason for this!

Over the years, YouTube has been very aggressive towards gambling content. In fact, we even lost the entire APCW channel once to Google being so restrictive, ignorant, and impossible to contact or reason with. So when we made a new APCW channel I started doing something different:

1. The current and main "APCW Channel" on YouTube has just under 1,000 subscribers, which is not a lot for most creators. However, as we are a niche within a niche, the numbers are not so important... especially since Michael Corfman only views YouTube as a CMS and has no real desire to grow that community. He would rather keep the majority of traffic on GPWA.

2. We actually have multiple YouTube channels for APCW, but only one main "APCW Channel". That main channel is where we publish the interviews with programs, as we have never had YouTube take down one of those videos. They could, but so far the interview videos have not posed any issues for them.

3. The other four (4) APCW channels (like the one hosting this week's video) are where we upload the weekly videos. We then "share" those videos via a playlist to the main "APCW Channel". We do this so that we don't have to worry about the main channel being taken down... forcing us to start over from scratch again. So now, if YouTube takes down a video, issues a content strike, or deletes one of the "extra" channels, we will only lose about 25% of the old weekly shows... but the main "APCW Channel" will be safe.

Hope that makes sense... we are simply trying to stay ahead of the next bug YouTube gets up it's butt about gambling content!
